Continuing my rereading of the AD&D 1e DMG, I take a closer look at Appendix G & H, traps and tricks. Apparently, Gary enjoyed tricks more than traps...

I was looking at the 1e DMG, specifically Appendix P - Creating a party on the spur of the moment, and I noticed something that I hadn't noticed before. Actually, many somethings, such as expected power level and magic item distribution. It was eye-opening.
