Dr. Noreal Armstrong, Buncombe County Equity and Human Rights Officer, joins us to discuss the work her office is doing to support the long term recovery of the County. While a lot may have changed, their work will continue as we rebuild community internally and externally. They are making sure all residence of Buncombe County are acknowledged, seen, and involved in the process.

Learn about Buncombe County mobile health unit and the services that they provide community. Kerri and Molly, Buncombe County staff, are here to inform community about the resources that are available. From immunization to STI testing the mobile health team to serve the community.

Bethany Vance from Manna Food Bank share about what their organization has been doing in the aftermath of Helene. Manna Food Bank is the County's partner with our Community Engagement Market. Learn more about how you can access these resources and support this local community partner.

Buncombe County Special Collection Manager, Katherine Cutshall join us today ask community to join the Post Tropical Storm Helene memory Project. Come Hell or High Water  is a community memory project to collect, preserve, and present the stories and digital record of the Western North Carolina communities impacted by Tropical Storm Helene, with a particular emphasis on Buncombe County, our home.

Today we meet the new YMI Cultural Center Executive Director, Sean Palmer, on the show. He will discuss his vision for the YMI Cultural Center. Learn more about the exciting things coming to the Nation's oldest African American Cultural Center here in downtown Asheville.

Today we have Buncombe County's Communication and Public Engagement Public Information Officer, Stacey Woods, on to talk about the county's storm response and recovery communications. Who was involved, how we communicated to the public, and how to stay engaged as we transition to long time recovery.
