Tall City

The period between lives can be confusing for those easily provoked by sensations. Faces from your previous life and premonitions of the next will mingle into a bodiless haze, and emaciated souls that wander these moments see lost ghosts like ourselves as easy prey. The past doesn't belong to you and the future hasn't revealed itself yet. As for the now, that is a matter of opinion. Guidance by@at...

In the spirit of the big game

Drunk Drums #1 by Tall City

Something for the dancers

Voices of those now or previously alive drift through one ear and out the other, tiptoe across your brain lightly as to not disturb your peace.

Our spirit takes us places our mind can't quite explain. Your brain is searching for reasons, but your soul has already found the best future for you, and places you there. Confused and unsure, you struggle until the reasons rise from the depths, and you finally understand why you came here. One of my favorite mixes, recorded live while on IG live. A medley of cumbia, samba, deep and organic house...

Voices overlap and layer into a bed of wandering dialog, locked within rhythms. Sounds courtesy of @shikashikacollective @mercedesnasta @loli-cosmica @intiche @el-buho @joaquincornejomusic @chanchaviacircuito @go-dugong @rumbotumba @dj-captain-planet @liniker-barros @bernardopinheiro @klikandfrik

Feeling like you went to sleep on the ground and woke up past the sky. Drifting but safe in a circular path around the earth. Music from Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, the USA, North Africa, and more. @kvoox @manucho_arevalo @enlabarda @peter-power @joaquincornejomusic @gasparmuniz @antaares @yemanjo @dj-yeahman @foxallmusic @holedcoin @a-v-m @dvniel-dt

I'm pretty sure I've spent way more on music than gear, but I think a good selection is key, and flashing lights are fun but secondary.. A journey through different moods, all with the undercurrent of rhythmic imperfection.. dust and grime, so offbeat it works, strange samples repeated until they click. Some of my favorite producers mixed in a cool basement while the world above strives and swelte...
