Fortnight 36, Day 11. We both have something to play for. We talk about assist guys and Oak Hill and one of us overthinks a question. Will it cost us?

Trevor solo effort today while Marc is away for the day. It's crunch time with both Trevor and Marc near the top of their divisions, vying for Meisterschaft contention. It's a drama-filled end to the Fortnight!

Fortnight 36, Day 9. Theme day 2 and it was one we both figured out. Only one of us has memorized the names needed though so that makes it tougher.

Fortnight 36, Day 8. Trevor is away so Marc is solo today. Brief discussions about Super Bowl running backs, all time goal scoring, and funny sports terms.

Fortnight 36, Day 7. Trevor remains hot and we both have decent days. We forget to wrap up the reason there can't be 5 strikeouts in an inning, and that is because in MLB the dropped third strike only occurs when there are less than 2 outs.

Fortnight 36, Day 6. Trevor keeps his strong start going with a couple wheelhouse questions. Marc gets caught in the obvious answer trap.

Fortnight 36, Day 5. We discuss conference re-alignment, oldish NHL arenas, and great women's soccer national teams.

Fortnight 36, Day 4. First theme day of this fortnight. We talk about Ivy locations and regattas. Trevor gives a sneak peak at an upcoming friendly topic.

Fortnight 36, Day 3. Today Trevor doesn't read a question but it doesn't hurt him. Some definite themes in the questions today (Michigan, attendance records) but one of us is undeterred.

Fortnight 36, Day 2. Trevor continues on his roll and Marc doesn't read the question. Not that it mattered much. And we get more Social Studies questions and a brief state history lesson.

Fortnight 36, Day 1. The Leroy Butler fortnight begins. We talk about the weather, time zones, borders, states and all sorts of other things to get questions right. Trevor of course wins a coin flip.

After his return from vacation, Trevor is proctored by Marc in an unofficial capacity. 

Listen along as Marc competes in the official Meistershaft for Liga 2. Thanks to Jeremy for being a great proctor! It goes pretty well, well enough that Marc is the Liga 2 Champ and pretty much nails the tiebreaker. 

Fortnight 35, Day 12. Championship day is here! Trevor is away so Marc is solo to talk about his day and his quest for the meistershaft. Legendary coaches, double basketball questions, and cycling! What could possibly go wrong.

Fortnight 35, Day 11. So very much talking! We did have quite a bit to discuss but also got sidetracked a lot as well. We talk about our mutual love of bull riding and track mostly.

Fortnight 35, Day 10. Longer episode as we had a lot to say about several of these questions, even the ones we knew right off the bat.

Fortnight 35, Day 9. Theme day 2 and it causes some confusion and consternation. Just what the heck is the theme? And did we figure it out? 

Fortnight 35, Day 8. Marc is solo today as we both were quite busy, and he gets a Celtics and cycling question in the same day. Don't worry, Trevor provides some feedback as well.

Fortnight 35, Day 7. We talk about question wording as well as great Olympic swimmers, desserts, and UFC.

Fortnight 35, Day 6. Happy Memorial Day! We talk about NBA stars for a while and also riff on the world of golf. Good days for us both.

Fortnight 35, Day 5. We go head to head again to break our 39 match dead heat. We discuss Red Sox cult heroes, off beat sports, and great winter olympians.

Fortnight 35, Day 4. Our first theme day and you know what that means. As usual, Marc struggles and gets derailed by question 5. Trevor even takes a while to figure out what his theme guess will be.

Fortnight 35, Day 3. Many of these questions seem related as we roll through them. Trevor remembers to read all the words in the questions and Gen Xer Marc feels like he has a bit of an edge. Actual theme day tomorrow!

Fortnight 35, Day 2. We start off by besmirching a Hall of Famer and then Trevor tells an RTFQ story about question 1. We reminisce about old school hockey jerseys and Marc has some serendipity to end the day.
