Take Your DM Shot

This is the game that keeps on giving! We get tucked into vehicle battle and learn that cars take almost as much damage as the person you are running over! We continue the Zacktly brothers quest to elevate their Nomad clan and earn the adoration of the Netrunner: Peaches!

This is a short one folks (stupid schedules!) but we get a bit more combat and we get to try some driving! This game is very exciting and has some great complexity to it! I really think we are doing the Mario bros proud!

Steve walks us through this first taste of Cyberpunk and it is awesome! Right out of the gate we are caught red handed and have to fight our way out of a situation! We get to try some combat, intimidation and learn how flimsy we really are! This game has so many opportunities for fun and we try to get into the slang a bit! With varying success.......

We figure out another chunk of the rules (there are many!!!) and get into character creation. We kinds went off the rails a bit but Steve guided us back! This is such an amazing robust game, we can't wait to get suck into it! I've had Johnny Mnemonic on repeat for the last week and I'm ready to go!!!! Jack me in!!!

To know the history of this game is amazing!! It's been around nearly as long as D&D! This dystopian game is packed with the potential for wild game play! We tackle the first part of the rules in this episode and, just for the hell of it, we'll record another rules episode before we really get into the meat and potatoes of this game!!

Are we the most charming mutants in the world? Yes, yes we are. We finish John's story of mystery, mutants and more mutants! We really just scratched the surface of this game, we'll come back and revisit it soon!!

We get to try this amazing game!! What do you get when you entrust the safety of a town to 2 ghouls and a robot? A town that is more or less slightly safer probably! We had fun trying out this system and emersed ourselves in the future, radiated wild west!

John walks us through how the mechanics of the Fallout RPG! Is it faithful to the video game? Do you get to build a base? Can you eat a lizard? Does radiation suck? Yes!!! This game looks like a heap of fun and we're fired up to play it.... once we learn how!

We finish our one shot for Monster of the Week! We had a blast! This format is brilliant, easy to get into and easy to use! Sometimes the story got a little long winded but , whatever! We had fun! Next week we explore: Fallout.

This is our real pilot for Monster of the Week by Evil Hat! Follow the story of the Baddie Beaters as they are called to bring their own brand of justice to a family of privileged money grubbers who are being served their just deserts in this story titled: I want my cake! We try to explore every aspect of this game to give you an idea what live play could look like!

This is our first episode!! We created a podcast to explore the rules of RPG's that we love and then playing that RPG! We started with Monster of the Week by Evil Hat. This one is near and dear to our hearts because it's frickin awesome!! We'll follow this episode with a homebrew story to try out this game and (hopefully!) show you how amazing it is!
