Pastor Gray encourages us to build our house upon the Solid Rock.  In Matt. 7:24-27, Jesus admonishes us to hear and do what He has said. He likens those who do as wise men, and those who don't as foolish. The winds and rains of trouble will come, but Jesus is our Solid Rock, the master over all.  Are you wise or foolish? 

Fasting helps us both physically and spiritually, and Jesus gave us some guidelines in Matthew 6:16-19. First, forgive those who have hurt you. Next, don't make your fasting obvious like the Pharisees did, but instead, wash your face.  In fasting you don't starve your body, but you starve the carnality within your body. You will learn to depend on God every day for all your needs.

Pastor Bill Grace discusses Christ's authority.  Long before David wrote Psalm 23, God used the shepherd's rod to display His authority. Jesus is the rod and staff, and He has given us His authority. He said we shall do the works He did and even greater works.  Go and do!

Pastor Gray continues his teaching on prayer.  Don't pray with meaningless repetitions as the Pharisees did. Our heavenly Father knows what we need before we even ask. But we must ask, and we can enter His throne room with confidence and boldness to ask and receive.

Pastor Gray uses Matthew 6:6 to teach on prayer.  In Old Testament times, the people went to the temple to pray. But that temple now resides within every person who believes in Jesus. Our prayer closet is not a physical room, though it can be, but that inner room of prayer is within us.  Listen in to learn more and discover the power of prayer.

Pastor Gray continues from last week with Romans 1:16.  The gospel is the power of God for salvation. The gospel is 4 things: death, burial, resurrection, and Jesus Christ. We are raised with Him and seated with Him in the heavens.  Don't be ashamed of who you are in Christ. 

Powerful ministry took place at Hosanna Fellowship today. Pastor Gray speaks briefly on Romans 1:16, not ashamed of the gospel.

Pastor Gray exhorts us from Paul's first letter to the Corinthian church. Pastor examines kingdom authority and the power and energy given to us through the Holy Spirit.  It all starts with knowing Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Pastor Gray preaches on Jesus' second coming.  The world won't see the rapture when it happens; however, it will see the effects. But Jesus's second coming will be public. Every eye will see Him. He will not be coming back as Savior but as Judge.  Are you ready? Are you watching?

Pastor encourages us to accomplish things for the kingdom of God.  The Bible doesn't tell us to understand the book of Revelation. It tells us to read it. Blessed is he who reads, hears, and heeds the words therein.  The time is short to do what the Lord has given us to do.

Pastor Gray declares that now is not the time for the church to go to sleep.  Jesus gave the disciples a clear mandate: Go and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all things that Jesus had commanded them.  Instead of us going to sleep, what would happen if we each decided we'd bring 3 people into the kingdom of God? 

Pastor Gray preaches from Matthew 28:19 and 20 about making disciples of all men.  Jesus tells us to go into the all nations, preach the gospel, and make disciples. Pastor Gray gives us the steps to do it.

Pastor Gray delivers a Christmas message.  Everything about Jesus' birth, from the gifts the magi brought to the shepherds, represents His mission from the manger to the cross as the sacrificial lamb for all mankind.  

Preaching from the book of Jude, Pastor Gray encourages us the contend for the faith.  We must earnestly fight for the church and be aware of four spirits that seek to deceive us: the false prophet, the false teacher, the spirit of Balaam, and one who is worldly. But build yourselves up in your most holy faith so you can build up those around you.

Pastor examines a question often asked: Why, God?  When we ask the question "Why, God, did you allow this?" we show our lack of faith in God. When you give your heart to the Lord, He gives you eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. He has a destiny for you.  We shouldn't ask, "why, God?" but say, "I trust You, God." 

As we enter the Christmas season, Pastor Gray ponders the Light of the world.  Jesus did not come into the world as the Israelites expected or wanted him to. Instead he came as a baby, yet Isaiah 9:6 tells us Jesus shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  And He came to do that for all mankind.

Pastor Gray takes a cue from Revelation 2:1-5 to encourage us to repent and return to our first love and first works--that of the apostolic age.  What is the apostolic age? God is able to heal. He is able to deliver; He is able to save. And when we go back to that, we'll see a move of God like never before.

Pastor Gray exhorts us to " not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober," for Jesus' return comes like a thief in the night. For the believer, it is not a time to go to sleep. It is a time continue in vigilant prayer, to build up our faith in God, and time to get out more of the Word of the Lord than ever before.  We are to be watchmen who make mention of the Lord day and night.

Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024. Pastor Mark Linder of The Dwelling Place, Florence, Alabama, concludes the Simply Jesus weekend with a lesson from the threshing floor.  From God's threshing floor we learn our identity, receive God's assignment, and are assured of His presence and authority as we carry out His assignment.  Our purpose is greater than our pleasure.

Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. Pastor Linder teaches about baptism.  In our flesh, we are powerless against the enemy. But water baptism signifies we are dying in Christ. When we come up out of the water we are identifying with Christ's resurrection, and no longer operating in our flesh.  Listen in for more T.R.U.T.H.

Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, Pastor Mark Linder of The Dwelling Place, Florence, Alabama, opens a special Simply Jesus weekend with calling us to come out of Babylon.  God is gracious and merciful. He is also holy and just. Babylon would tell you your pleasure is more important than your purpose. But no, it is time to pull down the idols in the church and return to the fear of the Lord.

Pastor Gray draws a comparison between the unrighteous Israel of King Jehu's day and the US of today.  The upcoming election is not about Democrats or Republicans. It's about good and evil. Not voting is being in agreement with evil. Though evil seems to dominate everything today, God will have the last say.  Vote for righteousness.

Pastor Gray preaches on Daniel 3 and the 3 Hebrew boys King Nebuchadnezzar had thrown into the fire.  The king insisted all bow down and worship the golden image he had built, and those who didn't would be put to death. In the End Times, the Antichrist will insist on the same thing. Will you refuse like the Hebrew boys or submit to the demands of evil?
