Jesus places Peter first among the apostles

Because Jesus has come into the world, we can have unshakeable hope.

God’s plan for the redemption of mankind is ready to be delivered. He will set the stage for the greatest birth in all of human history, and so today we will see three truths about this birth.

It begins with death, and ends with life, as Ruth and Naomi are redeemed by Boaz. as a widow is made empty, then full. And from this union of Ruth and Boaz will come a son, and a future great king, and the coming, King of Kings, as we look at three blessings of this redemption

Three Insights from Translating the Ten Commandments

Will love find a way? Ruth has now asked Boaz to be her kinsman redeemer, and so now Boaz, who loves her, will not rest until the matter of the closer kinsman is resolved. Ruth will have to sit and wait until God’s will is accomplished.

Here in chapter 3, again we see God orchestrating events to care for those who are faithful to Him as we see Naomi forming a plan that Boaz can marry Ruth and redeem her husband's lost land. And we see Ruth, living out this plan in faith and with modesty and humility.
