On the 12th January, Lawler's RLCS contract was unexpectedly and unfairly not renewed for Season 9. We spoke to him about that decision from Psyonix, and had the first ever uncensored interview from someone on the inside. We also read Axeltoss' first ever statement about his dismissal a couple of seasons ago.

2019 was a good year for Rocket League. The Dreamhack Pro Circuit happened, 2 RLCS' LANs and Epic Games bought Psyonix #PraiseFortnite. SunlessKhan, YouTuber extraordinaire, joined us to award the best moments in 2019 in Rocket League, as well as to talk us through his creative process and what makes his videos unique.

The only 8-time RLCS LAN competitior GarrettG has finally broken his curse and won Season 8 in Madrid! He joined us to discuss what that means to him, his family, and how often he joins Turbopolsa for a nice bowl of cereal in the morning.

As all the pros head off to Madrid for the RLCS Season 8 LAN finals, we run through the bracket to make our predictions. We also cover the drama of Aeon being kicked from RGB Esports and let the hate flow through us.

The season for G2 has been a turbulent one, but they managed to survive RLCS 8 relegation by beating RLRS' Charlotte Phoenix and NA's finest Cloud 9. Alongside the esports drama, a new update has replaced crates with blueprints and keys with credits, but is it too expensive or should you just max out your mum's credit card?

CJCJ, a.k.a. our Australian best mate, gives us insight into how the OCE RLCS is run differently compared to NA & EU. We also address the elephant in the room of Chiefs not making LAN in Madrid with Drippay & Express, and he lets us know his viewing party plans. Oh, also we can confirm he would NOT fight a kangaroo. At no point during week 3 did we feel at all comfortable with what was happening. Cloud 9 went 0-2 and are in 7th place, Pittsburgh Knights are in 2nd and NRG are the only unbeaten team in North America. On May 1st, it was officially announced that Epic Games have acquired Psyonix. Not just Rocket League, the whole damn company. We got everyone's favourite chirpy Rocket League Pro on, Doomsee, who gave us his thoughts and feelings on the deal.
