Jesus the light includes us in His assignment which was given to Him, and us, by the Father... and we are to run toward it even if it feels unsafe.

Jesus, the Light of the World... gives us our assignment. But before we can get to it... we have to know the rest of the story... the story of Jesus, the Light of the World.

Paul strengthens the foundation of a church started in only three weeks... from all new believers... and left to survive on their own. What kind of foundation will allow them to survive persecution? You will be surprised as Paul takes them back to school. A journey through 1 Thessalonians.

If you had only 3-weeks to lay a foundation for life for the ones you love... that would be vital information. That's what Paul did for the Thessalonica church made up of all new followers of Jesus... so he writes to them to fill in some gaps in their foundation. He takes them, and us, Back To School... Jesus Style.

We continue to follow Paul as he takes these new believers (and us)... Back to School Jesus Style.

Like a reluctant parent, hesitant to let them go, Paul gives them one final list... "Oh, yes... before I go... don't forget these things."

How important would some of the last words be from the most important person of all time? Pretty important. This month we are teaching from a portion of the last planned teaching Jesus gave to his disciples before he would allow himself to be arrested hours later, tortured, and crucified. These words must have been highly important to Him and therefor his disciples and now important to us.

Some questions answered from the last planned teaching of Jesus before He went to the cross. Can you be eternally cut off from Jesus once you have been connected to Him? How does God, the vinedresser/gardener, produce more and more fruit in and through our lives?

The gardener always prunes for one reason, a better harvest.

We can't produce any of the fruit God wants for His harvest. There's only one way. While we can't make fruit, we can certainly stop it.

FOLLOW ME... It's Not What You Think. We better get the "ME" right. FOLLOW ME is a journey into Ephesians 1 and 2.

FOLLOW ME... Salvation is completely free; yet, Jesus said we better "count the cost." Wait! What?

Anyone calling themselves a Christian wants to know for sure they are "IN" when it comes to Heaven. Assurance... How can we get it?

Jesus's call to "Follow Me" all comes down to this. He calls, We respond, He does all the "Making"... and the end result? We began to fish for men. This week we show you one way (of many) you can fish for men and be prepared to give an answer for the hope you have.

Once you begin to follow Jesus... can you do something so wrong, so bad you get kicked out?

Jesus describes his followers. Now we must ask ourselves, "Is Jesus describing me or is that not me?" But before we get to that question we have to answer why God gets to describe us in the first place?

Jesus describes us as more than servants, we can be his friends and we must ask, "Is that me or not me?"

What Jesus describes as His follower... is that me or not me?

Jesus describes His followers... and it gets salty. Is that me or not me?

In storms... we want God to do a removing job... but...

Seeing is Believing. Jesus isn't asking us to have blind faith... the miracles of changed lives are all around you.

"You just gotta have..." Really?
