Stupidity Rehab

I never think it's to late for anything.  That's why I decided to embark on becoming a Role Model.  Sure it'll take some work but I think I can do it.

Getting ready to kick off summer.  That means here comes Memorial Day.  When talking about our holiday feast with my kids I had to share some tidbits they didn't seem aware of.  Oh how it's nice to share knowledge.

Times they are crazy.  With as hectic as it all is I made a very simple request.  So far the answer is not back yet.  But wow how my request unsettled some friends of mine.

This is the first Mothers Day I can remember where I've got all my gifts and can just relax.  But I must admit I've made some mistakes when it comes to Mothers Day gifts in the past.

I got a taste of Age Discrimination the other day.  At the hands of my son.  Let me share my story of surprise and disappointment.

I worry about a lot of things.  TV gives us many new things to worry about.  My biggest worry these days is about Heaven.  I sure hope it's fun?

I have children and I wouldn't give away any of them.  Some men only want boys and no girls.  I call them out of their mind.  

What is wrong about wanting to stay fresh and clean when going out?  Seems it's wrong if you have a big bib you'd like to wear when chowing down at a restaurant.  My family is giving me headaches because I care about looking good and not getting messy.

If I have one thing that I've grown tired of it's being ambushed at the checkout register to give to some charity.  They hit you with different amounts you could give while paying for your purchase or just round up your bill and give that extra to whatever special cause they have.  Enough is enough.

Dr. Seuss has been catching some flack about some of his children's books.  I decided to pay tribute to Dr. Seuss with my effort to do a small type Dr. Seuss story.

Dog love is everywhere these days.  Some of it is a bit extreme I think.  When I think of dogs and balls it's a touchy subject.  Let me explain this to you.

We've all at times spotted a piece of abandoned furniture along side the road. An old couch left in the medium or a discarded mattress laying beside the road.  How about a hotline that folks can call those spotted items into.  Log them on line where they were seen at and bingo bango perhaps someone has found that used couch they've been in search of.  

Things should be opening up some as the weather warms.  With mingling being possible again I decided to have some things I could easily share with strangers.  

I've been stuck home watching a lot more TV then ever.  I realized we need some new and fresh tv show ideas.  Here are a few of my ideas that I might take to Hollywood.

Being an Archaeologist would be boring.  Digging through things just is unexciting.  But not so much if it involved cleaning out my wife's car.  You never know what you'll uncover next. 

The pandemic has taken it's toll on us.  Reports are now women are giving up on beauty.  They say why work on looking good if I can't go out to show it off.  No no no, we can't let this happen.

It funny how we remember things.  If you asked me what I did back on July 23rd, 1988, I couldn't tell ya.  But if you asked if I remember the time we were in the car and accidently ran over a chicken?  Yep I remember that moment as plain as day.

The world is a different place these days.  But I'm not an idiot.  I know how to wash my hands.  Things are just weird.

Got our first snow of the season.  Plus I've run into some Dateline episodes that are upsetting me and I need to vent.

What do I know about caskets?  Not much.  That doesn't mean this is a dead-end subject.   My wife got me thinking about how you can put a different spin on an old boring casket.  

Even with Covid 19 out and about folks will still gather for Thanksgiving.  What can we expect?   I'll share what I think and a couple of new wrinkles I'll be adding to my turkey day.

Marriage is a wonderful thing.  But somethings about it suck.  Let me explain one of the parts of marriage that suck for most men.  Maybe you'll agree or perhaps disagree?
