After our bear encounter, we heard from Mark Schwantes, a hunting guide over in Dillingham, AK . While hunting with his brothers Luke and David,  they were surprised  with a boar and a sow at 15 and 5 yards. Within a matter of seconds, Mark dropped the sow at 15 yards with a rifle and his brother behind him shot the 9' boar at 5 yards with a 500 revolver and turned him with one shot. We debat...

Trevor came up from Idaho to hunt spring brown bears with Tana. After shooting a monster 10' brown bear, the rifle jammed, and the bear came after them.
