Stretch Four

We talk about the bad-faith strategies, arguments, and tactics from the first week post-inauguration. More importantly, we talk about the policies and actions being taken and discuss how to stay engaged without getting fatigued. Then, we talk about the Sixers. We kick things off with a temperature check on the Sixers, both on their 2024-25 season and the overall state of the team. Should they make moves? Should they stand pat? We give our opinions. Then we talk about the team's new deal to stay in South Philly and how they played the Philly government to get what they wanted all along. We stay in South Philly to talk about a viral video of a heated...

Aaron's city is on fire and Keenan joins him to discuss the situation in Los Angeles and reactions to it from the news and social media. They talk about the devastating power of nature, the devastating power of a lack of empathy, the complete lack of purpose for a police force, and more. It’s our final episode of 2024. The Sixers might have turned things around? We talk Christmas-Day in the NBA and make bold predictions for 2025 and beyond. We look at how big men in the league have historically not been well-marketed and come up with some plans on how that could be done. We wrap things up with a Starting Five of our albums of the year for 2024. GET MORE STRETCH FOUR stretchfourp...

We use Jared McCain as a way to talk about the Sixers (is he too good to trade? what do they do?) the state of old heads criticizing young players of today (and the ones like Carmelo Anthony who get it) and if the never-ending quest for efficiency is leading to a game without art. We're back after Thanksgiving break to take a temperature check on the Philadelphia 76ers, which turns into a discussion about general NBA happenings (including calling out some accounts for a lack of knowing ball.) Then, we discuss Kendrick Lamar's new album, or...is it a mixtape? Finally, we get into talk about the most wonderful time of the year -- Spotify Wrapped Season and finally figure out...

Another bad week for the Philadelphia 76ers, with news of a team meeting where Tyrese Maxey called out Joel Embiid for his attitude and leadership. We talk about who might have leaked the news to the press, what it means for the team going forward, and if there's still enough time to turn it all around. We're a few days from the election and we wonder why things can't just be chill. We also wonder why the Sixers can't be more chill about how they communicate with their fans about player health. On the cusp of the 2024-25 NBA season, we look ahead to preview the upcoming year in hoops.
