Tonight we discussed Instalift, the successor to barbed sutures. Instalift is a type of dissolvable stitch that has little cones on it that get embedded into the jowls and cheeks. When pulled up, they lift the jowls and cheeks. Instalift was recently FDA approved and shows great promise as a temporary facelifting technique.
