Your legacy outlives you.  It is determined mainly by four different aspects of your life:  Your words, your deeds, your wealth, and your love.  This week we focused on what you do with your life.  Your actions matter.  We are created to do good works, and these works are a proof of our salvation.  They are a lasting testimony that lives on and on.

Your legacy is the lasting fruit you leave behind.  Your legacy is primarily determined by your words, your deeds, your wealth, and your love.  This week we look at our words.  The things you say in this life will play a significant role in the legacy you leave behind.  

It's inevitable.  One day we will all be gone.  All that will be left is our legacy.  Your words, your deeds, your wealth, and your love will live on.  Those are things that are determined now.  The life we live today determines the legacy we leave tomorrow.

Church is more than a "Sunday morning thing".  Church is a family.  Church is an "all the time" thing.  We need each other!  Life keeps coming at us, and we don't always "feel" right.  That's when the church is so important.  We are one.  We are an encouragement to each other.  

Life is unpredictable.  Life is a series of ups and downs.  Just when you think you have it all figured out, something happens.  This is life.  But, for the life that is centered on God, the swings don't have to be as intense.  Yes, the mountains and valleys still happen, but now there is an anchor in the storm. 

God is a delivering God.  He comes through.  He shows up at just the right time.  He rescues.  But, what if it doesn't happen just as we planned?  What if God doesn't deliver us from our situation?

We all face them.  Giants are a part of life.  It's that one huge issue that keeps coming back, taunting you day after day.  You've heard the story, and you know the ending:  David slays Goliath.  But, what led up to this point and how did a teenage boy kill a giant?  There might be more to this story than you've heard before.

Anthony ("Tony") gave his story of how God rescued Him.  He reached a low point, he got to the end of himself.  A life of drugs and a life of crime finally bottomed his life.  Everything changed the day he was arrested.  Tony's story is a story of God's redemption.  God never gives up, He restores and rescues.  This story is a story of the love of God!

Much of life is monotonous.  We have routines and schedules that seem to be much the same over and over and over.  However, there are those moments that break the trend.  Moments in our lives where we've undoubtedly been in the presence of God.  A time where we had an encounter.  Those times need to be remembered.  They need to be memorialized.  When life gets hard, or when we face a season of dro...

Truth brings freedom.  Lies bring slavery.  All of the issues in the world, all of the issues in our lives, can be rooted down to a lie of some type.  We live in a time when truth seems hard to discover.  Everyone has an opinion.  The good news for us as believers, is we have TRUTH living inside of us and guiding us.

A catchy tune.  We are all familiar with them.  Some songs have been sung for years, and have become staples in society.  But, do we take time to listen to the lyrics we are actually singing?  In this week's message we focus on "the stupidest song on the planet".  You'll have to take a listen to see which song earns that label!

Burn your plow?  What kind of title is that.  When Elijah passed the leadership  mantle to Elisha, there was a command to "slaughter your oxen and burn your plow".  At this point there was no turning back.  It was a moment in time with a line in the sand.

Life is all about finding answers.  But, how can you find answers if you don't ask questions?  Questions set direction.  Questions provoke solutions.  As Christians, we should ask questions.  We should guide others to ask questions.  The answers is the goal, but the question is the path.

It starts as a spark.  That initial encounter with Jesus is just the beginning.  It is the beginning of a life-long pursuit.  What starts small can and should grow over the years.  There is always more.  God has more for us.  An ever-increasing passion is the fuel to the fire.

God has a plan.  We have a plan.  It works perfectly when those two match up.  But, often we don't see God's plan.  We can't wait for God's plan.  So, we push forward and make our own.  The good news:  God still has a plan!

He is worthy!  He alone is worthy!  Jesus Christ holds all things together.  Everything in heaven and everything on earth is under His authority.  From beginning to end, all things point towards Him.  He is worthy!

Christians are supposed to be known for their love.  Throughout the Bible we see love.  God is love, and we are to love.  Jesus said love envelopes the top two commandments:  To love God and to love others.  But what is love?  Has the modern understanding of love miscommunicated God's original meaning to us?  Undoubtedly we are to love, but how?  And what does that look like?

Different is good.  As a Christ follower we should be different.  The way we act, the way we talk, and yes, the way we love, should be different.  If we are going to make a difference, we have to be different!

God has more for His people than we can possibly imagine.  How much can He do in a life that is fully committed?  Could it be that the "more" is available right now, but just needs to be asked for?  When the purposes in our hearts align with the purposes of God, things happen!  God has planted dreams inside His followers, it's now up to us to pursue them.

There are churches everywhere.  There are Christians all around the world.  But, what makes a church a church?  What makes a Christian a Christian?  It all comes down to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It's the story of a wayward son, but it's really more a story of a loving father.  Even in rejection the father continued to love.  Every parent knows this kind of love.  No matter where your son or daughter goes.  No matter what they do.  No matter how far they wander.  The love doesn't end.  How much greater is the love of God for us.  

It's a mad, mad world.  Drive around for five minutes on a busy road and you'll see the rage come out.  Why is everyone so mad?  Anger is deep-rooted.  Anger grows and grows.  We have to deal with anger before anger deals with us.  

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.  That never changes.  The things He did in the past, He can and will do in the future.  Nothing catches God off guard.  He is above all things.  He is infinite.  He is above time and location.  Yet, we live in a time and culture when things seem to be falling apart.  It is reassuring to know that God is bigger than any current situation, challenge, o...
