Pastor JT exhorts us from Proverbs 4. Our lives should be centered on the Word and always pursue Truth. As we start the new year, we should consider where we’re going and love Jesus above everything else.

Pastor JT reminds us from Zechariah 9:9 that Advent is not only a season of waiting but of worship. We can rejoice, shout, and look to the King that has already won the victory.

Pastor JT continues our Advent series in Isaiah 9. Just as Israel was called out of darkness to see the light of Christ’s first coming, we await the return of the King and his kingdom.

Logan Talamas begins our Advent series in Micah 5. Israel held onto the hope of a Savior just as we hold on to the hope of His return. In the waiting, we are called to action against the enemy, depending on God for the final victory.

Mac Matthews exhorted us to thankfulness from Psalm 107. As a rescued people, we have reason to be thankful - we have been brought from death to life! The Lord has sought and saved us, and his faithful love endures forever.

Pastor JT urges us to be participants in line with 1 Corinthians 4. We are all managers of the mysteries of God, seeking to make the gospel known to all. Only the Lord will judge our stewardship with what He’s given us, and one day He will reward our faithfulness.

Pastor JT continues in 1 Corinthians 3, calling us to all participate in the mission of God. We see our evangelism should result in the planting of churches. But our mission doesn’t stop there - it continues with the building of these churches on the foundation of Jesus Christ. 

Pastor JT preaches from 1 Corinthians 1 & 2, grounding us in the one sound of the gospel. Jesus saves us from our sin and sinful lives to live with agency and urgency by the Spirit’s power.  He also updates and invites us to join him in a new season at Storyline Church, One Sound, where we will pray boldly and give sacrificially so the Gospel can go forward throughout Colorado

Pastor JT concludes our series in Philippians, reminding us that we are in Christ. For those who believe, we are now saints, secure in Christ. We live continually by grace, participating as part of the family of God.

Pastor JT exhorts us to gospel partnership from Philippians 4. We see as Paul continues his mission, he invites the Philippians to partner with him and is grateful for their obedience. However, even in the invitation, he knows that Christ will strengthen him for the mission by His presence.

Pastor JT preaches from Philippians 4, where we see the path to joy and peace. When we feel anxious, we should look to the Father and acknowledge His control. Through prayer and petition, dwelling on the good, and doing what we’ve learned, we can have the peace of God with us.

Pastor JT continues in Philippians 3, exhorting us to pursue our citizenship of Heaven. While we cannot earn our salvation, we are called to strive with effort toward imitating Christ. We can either invest our lives in this world or in the kingdom of Christ.

Pastor JT continues in Philippians 3, comparing our confidence in ourselves against confidence in Christ. On the cross, Christ exchanged our sin for His righteousness. But He also exchanged all of our accomplishments for His accomplishments.

Pastor JT preaches from Philippians 2, highlighting Paul’s encouragement toward sanctification. He warns against grumbling & arguing, exhorting us to hold fast the Word. Our lives with each other should be marked by seeking the interest of Christ and honoring each other’s faithfulness.

Greg Stier encourages us to be radical like Jesus from Matthew 9. Here we see what Jesus saw, felt, imagined, prayed, and did to love everyone around him. We are called to imitate his love, empowered by his Spirit within us.

Logan Talamas shows us how the Proverbs teach us to be wise with our speech. Our words are powerful, so it is important to be slow to speak. Wise speech is honest, honoring, and helpful. This kind of speech can only overflow from us when we are filled with the wisdom of God.

Mac Matthews teaches from Proverbs 7, where we see God’s design for sexuality is good, but we disregard it to our own destruction. Our flourishing comes when we treasure wisdom, tread carefully, and can fully see how it ends.

Josh Navey introduces our summer series on Proverbs. From chapter 1, we see that wisdom is living for God’s glory, which is always for our good. Gaining wisdom is evident in our character, skill, and humility, and requires that we not only believe in God, but that we believe God.
