If you know peace with God you'll have peace in your heart, which extends to the circumstances of your life.  NO peace with God and you'll have NO peace in you life.  You may certainly blame many circumstances for your struggle but so long as you struggle with God nothing else will change.

A series of contrast in where you get your answers, which makes all the difference in the world.  Remember this, wisdom is not so much in what you say but what you don't say.  In fact, the more necessary you think something is to say, the less likely it is true.  Wisdom is not in your ability to convince others to your way of thinking but in responding according to the Word of God....

James uses six illustrations to describe the effect of the tongue.  The bit and rudder, how the tongue may direct lives.  Fire and poisonous animals and how it may destroy lives.  A fountain and a fig tree reveals the source and how it may delight its listeners with wisdom and knowledge.  Like your mother always said, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
