They also debated how they think the Bulls will fare in the playoffs. Later, the crew celebrated Bears matriarch Virginia McCaskey turning 99 earlier this week. She shares a birthday with a few notable celebrities.

Saturday Suckage is back for 2022 ... kinda. To start the new year, Steve Rosenbloom was joined by Mike Esposito, who filled in for Mark Grote. They opened their show by reacting to the Bears offering former Pro Bowl center Olin Kreutz a $15-per-hour job in 2018 to be an offensive line consultant for them.

In the final hour, Steve Rosenbloom and Mark Grote conducted the What Mark Heard segment, where Grote shared the best Bears sound of the week, with coach Matt Nagy explaining his thoughts on up-tempo offense and and defensive lineman Akiem Hicks expressing his love for chatting with Grote. Later, the guys welcomed on Chris Rongey and Mike Esposito for transition.

Later, former Bears offensive lineman Jay Hilgenberg joined the show to discuss the dustup between current Chicago offensive linemen Teven Jenkins and Germain Ifedi.

In actual sports-related news, Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson spoke truth about the focus of some of his teammates this week.

Steve Rosenbloom and Mark Grote opened their show by previewing the Bears-Packers game Sunday night. After that, they shared their appreciation for actress Meryl Streep, who's the GOAT. Later, Score analyst Patrick Mannelly joined the show to preview the Bears-Packers matchup.

In the final hour, Steve Rosenbloom and Mark Grote looked back at the legendary 2006 game between the Bears and Cardinals. The teams are set to meet again Sunday. Later, Bulls Radio play-by-play man Chuck Swirsky joined the show to preview Chicago's game at the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday evening.
