Steve Reads a Comic

This one is all about He-Man because apparently Shawn has some hard opinions about the property. Who knew? Steve imparts a cautionary tale of science and engineering gone awry at Cretaceous Place.

We watched Black Widow and we have opinions, surprising absolutely no one. We also offer speculation on the Loki finale. And we even discuss Frank Miller's Sin City: The Hard Goodbye, albeit briefly.

We were supposed to talk about The Crow this week but that didn't happen. Instead we caught up with what everyone has been watching. Bonus content: we talk about weather. Sorry, we're old.

The boys are back after a short break that included witnessing an attempted coup incited by former US president Donald Trump, so that was fun. They catch up on Wandavision and discuss the Marvel crossover event series Absolute Carnage.

Bonus episode! The awesomeness of the finale of season two of The Mandalorian and the utterly abysmal awfulness of Wonder Woman 84 demanded a new episode. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!

Last episode of season two! We discuss Jhonen Vasquez's Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Rob shares stories that only Rob could tell while amped up on Steve's secret coffee recipe. Steve has had enough of being the only one called out for interrupting. Shawn loses his train of thought a lot. Clearly the best work we've ever done.

Steve reads Todd McFarlane's Spawn this week. I don't have anything clever to say here, as this episode was recorded a week ago and I don't remember any of it. I'm pretty sure it's our best episode yet!

We're back with a story about one of the biggest comic characters of the nineties: CABLE. Steve threatened us with a gun the size of a Prius when we made fun of his latest terrible intro. 

This week we discuss The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite, the basis for the first season of the popular Netflix series. Steve continues to put far too much effort into the intro only to achieve a new level of shame. Rob stays awake for ninety percent of the episode!
