Some people do not care, they will say what is on their mind and live their life the way they want no matter who thinks what. Others are very conscious and want to please other people all the time. And some are hybrids, they don't care what some think of them but care about what others may think. Where do you stand in all of this?

Hello, all the news about our current adminstration's efforts to streamline, downsize the federal workforce, got me thinking, about the good and that bad about it. It also brings back memories for me of other politicians who have come into office with the same agenda. All of this is nothing new, but it is large scale, the federal government, which affects a lot of people.

Hello again, dear listeners. When I say "group" I mean a lot of things: mental health support groups, substance abuse groups, open mics, ham radio nets. Anything with participants and a facilitator(MC, host, lead, net control), and the dynamics within the group. Or at least how I perceive it. Someone once teased me, as the movie "The World, according to GARP" was in the theater...

My thoughts, on the difference between being the person whom everyone wants to associate and see, and being an invisible fly on the wall, in this world.

The following episode is just my personal views regarding doctors. It probably is not the general consensus of most people, and it is just a recording that I have in my head, whether rational or not. But it feels good to talk about it sometimes to people other than myself. So here are my thoughts, for good or for worse.

Such a Dicey subject, that many get passionate and upset about. Nevertheless, it is the bricks and mortar of that which organizes us and bounds us as a society and as a cohesive unit. We all have our views, and politics is interwoven with religion as well, another very sensitive subject, to say the least.

There is a difference between a mental illness and a pathological disorder. The treatments differ as well. I forgot to discuss borderline personality disorder in this episode, perhaps I will embelish upon that more in future episodes.

Taking accountability, fessing up, owing up, all terms for ownership of one's own actions that lead to a situation, predicament, etc. It is much easier to lay blame upon external forces, and many of us are guilty of such, shall we say, tempestous thoughts, as they are. I take accountability for my path to loneliness in this episode. This is my other side, my own demons.

To some people, neighbors are everything. Personally, to me, I would rather not have any contact with them, I would rather socialize with people on the outside and be free to come and go without having to avoid people. But hey, that's just me. This is also a test recording, just to ensure that I can still publish my episodes here on this platform for free.

Maybe it's a farm, or an amusement park, or climbing a mountain, or being the life of a party. Everyone has their own "happy space" although happiness is an over rated word. I just share my experiences of where I know I am not comfortable.

Have you ever found yourself cracking up the group of people that you were with? Anyone every tell you that you should be a comedian? Do you feel that you are funny? There is a difference between being the funny person in the room, and being the funny person on stage, like being a big fish in a small pond and a tiny beta fish in an ocean.

As we end the month of January, I think about all the loss we suffered here in the USA, between the California wildfires, and last night deadly plane crash in Washington DC Metropolitan area. It is hard not to think about it or discuss it.

A little bit about superficiality. I forgot to add that sometimes phonies will ask you if you have any plans for tonight, or how your day is going? or something and then will completely tune you out after you answer the question. I also do a short little comedy set here that I am thinking of performing at an open mic.
