Down to earth instruction on marriage and church, and being who we were made to be in Christ.

In our lives as Christians we follow Christ in everything, and in His examples, we consider others before ourselves.

Paul applies the principle of "Love your neighbor as yourself" to himself in his ministry, as one who is perfectly free in Christ and servant of all.

Inspired by the example of Jesus, we care about others ahead of ourselves, for their good, in the directive of "do unto others as you would have them do to you."

Pastor Paul responds to questions by the Christian Church in Corinth about marriage, sex and life.

This is how Christians treat one another as sisters and brothers in Christ, following the example and calling of Jesus.

Paul gets to the heart of the matter that this group of Christians were dealing with divisions because they were not focussing on Jesus.

God, who is our authority, establishes authority in our life, for our good, and entrusts that authority to others to protect us.

This is the Christian life, but it is only powered by the Grace of God, not by our ability, it too, is a gift of God!

God's plan for all people is to save all by the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.  Though some will reject that gift, it does not changes God's mind or plan--all can be saved through Christ.

The message of the Bible is not man's wisdom, but God's Wisdom, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Paul's passion that his fellow Jews would be saved by believing in Jesus Christ.

This is a letter to a group of Christian whom Paul helped to gather as a church in the city of Corinth.  Paul is no longer there in person, but writes to them to teach, admonish and guide them in Christian faith and living.

Paul closes his letter (epistle) with greetings, exhortations and praise of God.

Let God be the Creator and we His creation, blessed, loved, forgiven by Him, and trusting His will in everything!

Jesus came to be condemned in our place, so that now, by faith, worked in us by the Holy Spirit, we have peace with God in everything and forever.

We thank God that He shows us the seriousness of sin, and provides a way to life through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

We are slaves to sin if we think we can sin because Jesus has won us forgiveness.  We are set free to a new life of battling sin in us everyday, with the joy of knowing that we are forgiven.

The Christian life is one of sacrifice and caring for others above ourselves, following the example of Jesus Christ.

One of the Bible's great "Therefores" as we have peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

We are not saved by what we do, but by faith in Jesus Christ.

Paul proves from the Psalms that no one is righteous, but that the Laws convicts us all to be sinners, but that by faith in Jesus Christ, we are saved.
