A Devotional Thought: On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me FIVE golden rings! According to some sources, these rings remind us of the five books of Moses, which point to Jesus. Jesus said, "If you believed Moses, you'd believe Me, for he wrote about Me" (John 5:46). May your twelve days of Christmas bring you many more blessings in Christ! Merry Christmas.

A Devotional Thought: Advent is a time to prepare. Throughout the Bible there is an emphasis on preparation. John the Baptist proclaimed, "Prepare the way of the Lord." Mary and Joseph prepared for their baby. Jesus is preparing a place for us. As we prepare for Christmas, we also prepare our hearts for that final day when He comes. As the prophet Amos said, "Prepare to meet your God" (4:21).
