With such a tough moral admonishment, what is this 'Good News' John proclaims?

In this Sunday's readings and especially the Gospel we hear about John the Baptist who goes ahead of the Lord to prepare the way. How are we to prepare our hearts for Christmas? And how will God work out Salvation in and through us?

On this First Sunday of Advent we hear again the urgency with which we must prepare for the coming of Christ. How should we do this? Fr Naylor gives us three ways to reflect on our lives.

Jesus asks His Disciples who they think He is. It is a profound question beyond an academic exercise, one that reveals in our hearts who we really are, too.
