We started looking at what makes our lives meaningful in the first week of the Life Course. As the sessions progressed we focus on Christian claims. In this final session, John talks about what our relationship with Jesus look like and also how can we be open to experience the power of Holy Spirit.

Kirstine welcomes back our group who went on the Life Weekend Away and speaks about how important 'one of a kind experiences' are in our culture today. Looking at the story of the women at the well and Zacchaeus, she talks about how we can have the ultimate life experience in knowing Jesus and the gift of his Holy Spirit.

Jenny starts our new series on James by looking at James 2. She explores why James puts such an emphasis on deeds and how we can understand this against Pauls teaching on faith and grace being the only way to salvation.

John speaks about how to be with God and what prayer is in his talk this week.

This week John finished our mini series on generosity and giving by looking at Philippians 4. How can we fully rely on God for all of our needs and follow in the example of Paul to be content whether we have a lot or very little.

We often don't like to talk about faults or weakness. John speaks what forgiveness means to us and what Jesus did for us on the cross.

John, our vicar, looks at the letter Paul writes to the Philippians (Phil 4:1-9). Twice a year we hold services looking at money; what it means to give generously, how we can stop money becoming a ruler of our lives and how giving enables St Mary's to offer various ministries for the congregation and the local community in times of uncertainty.

Aileen speaks to us about hearing God's voice, how he may be speaking to us through the Bible, through other people or directly to us.

This week, Andy finishes our series on prayer by looking at praying for our future and how to see prayer as a gift.

Who was Jesus Christ? Was he someone more than a nice moral teacher? In this week's talk, John introduces who Jesus is and what it means to believe in him today.

In the second part on our series about prayer, John talks about forgiveness and the grace that Jesus extends to each one of us.

Kirstine talks about the model of ministry that we use in St Mary's exploring the theological reasons behind it and also a practical 'how to'.

In the second week of the Life Course, John talks about the role of Science and how we can find meaning in life.

Is there anything that you're trying to solve rather than choosing to trust in God? Are you Martha or Mary in Luke 10? Fiona talks about her own experience and encourages us to pray and trust in God.

John talks about work of Holy Spirit and why we pray for people at the end of each service at St Mary's.

What is baptism? Bola, member of St Mary's, explains the meaning of baptism and looks at the question, 'what does life look like after Baptism' as we celebrate three members of our evening service getting baptised.

THhSunday we celebrated 4 members of our church being baptised in the morning service! John speaks about his own journey to faith and explains the format of the Life Course in allowing the big questions of life and faith to be asked and explored together.
