The Second Sunday of Easter.  A recent Gallop poll revealed membership in houses of worship has fallen below 50%. Admittedly, it's hard to have a relationship with what we can't see. However, we can experience God through the disciples' shared stories of Jesus.

Easter Day

Maundy bThursday.  At his last supper, Jesus broke bread with his friends and gave them (and us) a way not just to remember him, but to enter the mystery of the brokenness of his cross. The Eucharist (also known as Holy Communion or the Mass) is grace for broken people, places, and things.

Good Friday.

The Great Vigil of Easter.  Christian faith doesn’t assume that life is going to be easy, or that God will never give us more than we can handle. Christian faith puts its hope in the inexhaustible power of Jesus’ resurrection to overcome whatever overcomes us—a second big bang whose full effects a hurting world awaits.

The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday.  For over a year, we've been told to avoid being in crowds. The stories surrounding this particular Sunday warn us about the dangers of mob mentality and the responsibility we all share.
