When looking beyond the surface of our actions, we find the deeper desires that influence how we behave.   In this series, we look closely at our innate deepest desires of Power, Approval, Comfort and Control - and how to understand and approach them with a Godly heart.

Scratch beneath the surface of our actions, and you quickly reveal the deeper desires that drive those actions.  This new series is all about delving into the heart of idolatry, and the variety of problems it presents to us in our life and faith. We'll look at four core idols - Power, Approval, Comfort and Control - and explore how idolatry is a challenge for all of us.

The final chapter of Paul's letter to the Galatians leaves us with an encouragement to support our brothers and sisters in Christ; carrying one another's burdens. As Paul has made clear throughout this letter, we're a family of believers, and mutual care should characterise our community.  Tim concludes our Freedom in Jesus series, with Galatians 6:1-18.
