Jesus calls his disciples. In the third part, he calls them “fishers of men.” In our discipleship to Jesus, He wants us to do as He did. Jesus’ words apply not only to the disciples but also to us. Following Jesus means doing the things that He has done. As we learn to follow Jesus, His love will flow through us to other people.

Jesus calls his disciples. In the second part, he tells them, “I will make you…” In our discipleship to Jesus, He is the one forming us. Jesus’ words apply not only to the disciples but also to us. Following Jesus means taking on the things that He Himself has done. As we learn to follow Jesus, we must re-prioritize our lives so Christ lives in us.

As we enter into a new season, we are reminded that Jesus gives us a renewed outlook on life. Jesus says He is the way, the truth, and the life. This series will embark on living as Renewed followers of Jesus as we are called to Be With Jesus, Become Like Jesus, and Do as He Did.

Jesus has control over the chaotic waters. Jesus has control over our chaotic lives. When Jesus calls us to follow after him, it's a step of faith for us to trust in Him. There will come a time when Jesus returns to make all things right, and we will be in eternity with him, sitting beside still waters of his grace and mercy. Until then, we are called to walk with him through the chaos of life.

God uses ordinary things for extraordinary miracles. Through water, God heals people through the water and His word. His healing is our testimony to His power!

We often forget about God's provision for our lives and doubt his presence and power. Just like the Israelites, we ask, "Is the Lord among us or not?" However, Christ is the spiritual Rock that provides for us Living Water. Because God is faithful, we are called to be faithful to Him, our Rock and our Living Well. Throughout the Scriptures, people meet each other at a well and find a love that is faithful and true. However, Jesus gives a woman a restored relationship when He meets her at a well. This love is more than romantic, more than familial, and more beautiful than any relationship we can imagine. Jesus provides what we often are looking for when He offers us living water that truly satisfies.

Compare Genesis 1:6-8 with Genesis 7:11. In creation, God separates the waters above from the waters below. In the flood, God allows the waters to come crashing back together. This is a "decreation" of sorts. It's in this decreation and judgment that Noah and his family are preserved and saved.

Water is all around us. We drink it to survive, we use it to clean ourselves, and we swim in it for fun. What if God made water not only for our physical benefit but also to point us to deeper realities? In this series, we explore the role of water in God's work in this world.

Jesus desires to eat with us! He offers forgiveness to those who seek it and he provides us an audience with a loving and caring God who is here for us in every way.

As followers of Jesus, we are not a people who stay in mourning. We wave palm branches as our King heads to Mount Calvary to bleed out on a cross and we rejoice knowing that next Sunday is coming. We have a King who continues to walk along side of us into death and into new life.
