God made you for a purpose and often that purpose will be birthed through a problem.  So, what problem are you having right now that could point you to your purpose? Maybe the purpose of your pain is so that you can bless, encourage, or offer hope to others experiencing that same problem and pain.

Have you started 2024 with something that you want to change in your life? There’s always something that we would like to change about ourselves. Where do you want a new beginning? Where do you need a do-over? With Jesus, there is always hope.  God is The God of new beginnings. He can wipe your slate clean.

The treadmill of life. The keeping up. The meeting expectations. Even the people who are closest to us can wear us out. The demands placed on us today are greater than ever before. We need rest. How do we get it in a world where everything is about how we look and what we do? When we come to Jesus, we can have the rest.

You may have heard the saying “life is a race.” So, how do we run the race of life? As we enter 2024, let’s learn what it looks like to run with faith.

What are you wanting this Christmas? Not just stuff to put under a tree, but what do you really want? What do you need? The truth is that everything we truly want is found in one gift.

When you think about Priceless Gifts, especially at Christmas time you would naturally think about the Three Wise Men who came to Jesus bearing gifts. These gifts were not only valuable, but were also incredibly practical, and deeply spiritual.

Life is not always measured by time.  It’s measured in moments.  Moments that can be priceless gifts.  We don't know what God might do in us or through us in one moment of obedience.  When it comes to the life of Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, all we have are a few moments.  But moments that measured his life well.

What can you give to God that he doesn't already have? What do we have to offer a God who is the Master of the universe? We have this amazing gift of praise. When we see him for who he truly is, we have to praise Him; it's all we can do.

Are you full of enthusiasm for the things of God or do you find yourself more spiritually comfortable? Are you charging into spiritual battle knowing that the Lord your God is with you, trusting that He’ll never leave you? Are you striving toward your call or drifting to your own comfort?

We’re all addicted to something and negativity is one addiction that tries to rule our lives.  We need to be able to stay positive, so today, we’re going to talk about gratitude. So, if you find yourself in a bit of a pit, maybe living with anxiety, complaining, bitterness, or a little negativity then hang on, because today we’re going to see that gratitude is the gateway to peace.

With all the changes in this world, it can be really hard to know what your role is as a parent. How do you know if you are succeeding?  How do you know if you hit the bullseye?  We all need some clarification and the Bible is the perfect place to go to for direction.

Blended families make up almost half of the families in America today. As a blended family, what are some principles you can live by? Let's talk about those.

They're just hypocrites. I bet you've thought or even said that about someone who claimed to be a Christian but didn't live it out. They show a side of themselves that just doesn't seem like it goes along with what a Christian should do. What does Jesus say about hypocrisy? He says, “I’ll see you on the other side.”

Fear. It's real and it's prevalent in our lives. It happens in a variety of ways and causes a variety of responses. What does Jesus say about our fears? What does he do to help us through them? We may be hanging by a thread, but that's plenty when Jesus steps in.

We owe a balance. It’s not something that can be paid from our bank account. We owe a debt of sin. What does Jesus say about sin? What does he do with this balance that we owe? We need to check our balance and see how Jesus has canceled our debt.

I've done all I can do. Ever made that statement? The truth is, sometimes things happen to us that aren't our fault and we do all we can to make it through. What do you do, though, when you've done all you can and you're out of resources and ideas... when you're a basket case and see no hope?

We pray our hearts out. We ask God to change things. We beg him to move. After all of our begging, it seems like He does nothing to answer us. When we feel our prayers are going unanswered, it shakes our faith. We get to the place of asking, "What's the point in praying?” if it doesn't do anything. There's more to it than that, though.

There are so many misconceptions about prayer. Not only about what prayer is but how to pray. Every religion has some type of prayer ritual, but for Christians, it’s more than a ritual; it’s an intimate conversation. How do we pray? We pray as Jesus taught his disciples when they asked him, “Lord, teach us to pray.”

According to studies, most of us pray at least every now and then. While the content of our prayers varies, one thing is consistent: most of us struggle to pray consistently or with joy. Prayer is a powerful weapon for a believer in Jesus. Let's learn how to talk with Jesus.

If you want to be prepared for the future, for the next season, for what’s next, then you’ve got to think ahead.  As you think about your future, do you see red flags?  Are there signs of danger ahead?  Are there things that wise friends have pointed out that you need to give serious consideration?

When our lives are being tossed to and fro by all of life’s transitions, we may find ourselves motion sick and in need of something to anchor ourselves to. We have an anchor of stability in Christ Jesus.  He is the most powerful anchor for our motion-sick souls.

Preparation is an important part of getting the most out of life…getting the most out of the different seasons of life. Is it possible to prepare for the next season?  Are there really things that we can do now to prepare us for what’s next? 

All families are invited to celebrate the life change that took place during Kidz Camp 2023. Whether or not you have kids, there will be something for everyone, and we can't wait to take this opportunity to celebrate the wins from Kidz Camp as a church.

The troubles of life. Some are our fault, some are not. We all go through them. However, we don't all go through them the same. Let's take a look at what troubles and trials look like in our lives and see how to see them all, not as a curse, but a blessing. They have a purpose.

God works in mysterious ways. It's a common phrase, but it's also true. He knows more, thinks higher, and loves more extravagantly than we can ever imagine. Sometimes, we go through circumstances and wonder what the purpose is. More often than we realize, God's protecting us from what he knows is around the corner. How does he do that?
