This week we introduce our next portion of the Discipleship Pathway, the Story of Scripture. Pastor Jared takes this time to walk through the grand narrative of the Bible tying together familiar stories into the overall picture of God's work of salvation recorded in the Bible. 

In this passage, we see Paul given the opportunity to share his favorite story—the story of how the Lord interrupted his plans and rescued him from his own sin. Pastor Jared encourages us to remember our own stories and, like Paul, boldly proclaim what the Lord has done in our lives!

As we look at this narrative from the life of Paul, Pastor Jared hones in on the phrase "the scars of the savior". We look at the scars Paul bore for Christ and pause to reflect on what scars we may have for the cause of Christ.

In this passage, we see Paul visiting James and sharing a report of how the Lord is working among the Gentiles. Pastor Jared encourages us to cultivate a habit of celebrating God’s work. He also challenges us to be prepared for handling rumors with wisdom and to have a process in place as we pursue purity in our own lives.
