Sports Weekend with Steve Thomson

Outdoorsman Steve Carney gives us an update angling as the Summer season starts winding down.

It's a full hour on the State Fair porch. Steve is joined by outdoorsman Steve Carney, Paul Ryan of Shanghai Henry's, Dustin Roemeling of the MN DNR, and State Trooper Troy Christianson.

It's been a while since we've asked about the health of your pets. Dr. Jean Geske of VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital joins Steve at our Fair porch for a new edition of our "Ask the Vet" hour. She takes your questions on what's ailing your furry friends.

It has been one of the busiest weeks of Phil Miller's baseball writing career. Steve addresses the elephant in the room... the Pohlads choosing to retain control of the team. Phil talks a bit about what he saw from Joe Pohlad and his giddiness level when breaking the news to the public. He notes he hasn't seen much fury from fans at the ballpark but the opposite is true on social media platforms.
