Today we have PJ, still nursing a cold, in the new Sports Theory studio, and in an abundance of caution we decided to have EMac phone in so that we can keep at least one of us healthy. Good sound quality though, and PJ's voice is much better than the previous episode. 

Today we start the new year out with our 2023 predictions. We also take a look at the NFL playoff matchups coming up this weekend. Apologies about the rough voice, PJ is battling a cold.

Our thoughts are with Damar Hamlin, his family, his friends, and his teammates.  In the second half of the episode we announce the winners of our 2022 Golden Monocle awards for the year that was.
