With the recent devastating fire that occurred at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, I recalled my visit there last June. I was so moved by that space, I wrote an extensive piece about it in another blog post. I am now so grateful that I went, and spent so much time there. For now, the great spires are gone and so much damage has been inflicted.  It's also worth noting that it occurred on Good Friday....

When you have situations in your life that are really challenging you, the call is to go within, and see what spending time in forgiveness for the person or situation you're in is calling for. Forgiveness is not a free pass to place yourself above another , or to earn a badge of victimhood.
