When God calls us to a place of faith and purpose, oftentimes it's personal. Meaning, everybody is not to come along on the journey in fulfilling God's will for "our" life. Having God as "our Source" is always better than any re-source. When we look at our circumstances and take things into our own hands rather than look to God and his Word it can lead to unnecessary toil, bondage and hardship. God has a plan for our lives, and it's always better then anything we can do. It's "the blessing." Take a listen!

As we continue our series on faith it is important for us to not be thrown off by our circumstances. We will begin to learn when situations arise that "appear" to not be in our favor, that is the time to turn our eyes and attention toward God and His Word; that we may live in relationship with Him and experience the life he has purposed for us to have. This is the season that the Lord is calling us to Faith, to close chapters in our lives as we open another. Whether it's living as He would have us, or fulfilling what He has placed in our hearts; He wants to bring it to pass. We cannot be fearful about the change. We must carry it out by learning to live life on purpose "His" way. Take a listen!

Whenever we close one chapter of our lives to open another, three changes are key to the new. Our mind, what is our focus as a basis for living. Our behavior; do our actions foster faith, growth and development or do we oppose ourselves? Last, the people in our circle of influence; do their words speak life or death? All 3 areas need to be in sync as we turn the pages of our life. Take a listen!

Meditating on God's Word and what He exposes us to can lead to a sincere change of heart; which can open the door to blessing.

This is the second episode in the series "renewing our mind." As we continue to lay a foundation, we must accept the reality that we need to disconnect from the old life in order to connect to our new life as a "Child of Light." Take a listen!

As we begin to renew our mind in the Word of God, we cannot overlook an important part of the process. Awareness of the schemes Satan will use to go after the Word gives us the advantage over him; for we cannot afford to be ignorant of his devices. As born-again believers in order to experience lasting change, we must be willing to allow Jesus to live his life out in and through us. This is accomplished as we learn to yield our self to the Holy Spirit and do what the Word of God instructs. Take a listen!

Once we receive Jesus Christ in our hearts as Lord and Savior, He begins to manifest His life in us. It becomes evident that we are born of His Holy Spirit and are now a child of God. Take a listen.

As born-again Believers of Jesus Christ, though we're in the world we are not of this world. As children in the Kingdom of God, we are to live accordingly.

More often than not the true meaning of Christmas is lost due to what the world has reduced it to. Jesus Christ the Son of God came to reconcile us back to God and establish His kingdom in our hearts. As I began this series about the Kingdom of God, I hope it blesses you. Take a listen.
