So just where are you using your talent?  Is it only for work, for the boosts and perks of a paycheck?  Is it just for the benefits?  What gifts, skills and knowledge are you employing build the Kingdom?  I Peter tells us we are to use our various gifts to serve one another.

Giving is an opportunity of gratitude.  It is a sacrifice of service that we are called to strive for.  This is how we should lead our lives; we cheerfully commune, cooperate and collaborate in life.  We share with one another, in fun, faith and fellowship, so that we flourish.

As believers, we have stock in John 3:16, that protects us in every transaction we make in life.  It’s what connects us, not to just some account, but to the official Big Guy himself.  John 3:16 is the foundation for our living and giving.

The door is CLOSED on old things, we’re CLOCKing God, we only have time for HIM.  The CLOGS & CLUTTER are cleared out, our CLOSET is where we have been crowned with beauty for ashes.  We have been washed and covered…made CLEAN!

The closet is where we get our crown of beauty for ashes; like throwing on a hat for a bad hair day.  It’s where we get the oil of joy for our mourning; spraying ourselves in the sweet aroma of His grace.  The closet is where we put on a garment of praise instead of despair; covered in His glory.

We get comfortable, we let down our guard, get comfortable and over time, there’s a buildup, a residue of sin and life gets clogged.

It’s time my friend, shake the dust, clear the clutter of the things, the stuff, that is no longer serving and adding value to your life.

What time is coffee with Christ, when is the Messiah’s meeting, do you have a 1-on-1 supervision with the Savior?  What clock have you hung in the house of your heart to remind you of God’s goodness, grace and mercy?

Close on things of the past. Closing is what puts you in something new.  It’s leaving behind the old and walking into the new. It’s time to go to closing.

Point is, if you want to be successful in the course of life, make sure you read the syllabus.  When you read your syllabus (the Bible) just to get by, sure you can make it, but there’s no much you miss out on.  There’s peace, joy, there’s rest and comfort in the Word.  When we don’t read “the syllabus” fully, we can be left feeling empty and in the dark. The life lessons and lectures are lead in love.  The assignments are accented with anointing and ambition.  Grades are given with grace. The Professor promises you’ll pass if you just come to class.  How do you come to class?  What’s the course content?  It’s life, everyday - walking with Jesus, believing that He will show you the way.

It’s homecoming!  Get to the house, get to the temple!  Remember the good times you had praising God, recall how He’s brought you over, recount the times He’s made a way!  It’s homecoming; get to the house!

Give KNOWING in faith that it will be given, PRESSED DOWN - you know what that means!?  That means it’s so much, that you gotta press down to make room for more!! OH MY GOD - HE IS MORE THAN AMAZING!

Make sure you have your badge, your IDentity in Christ.  It tells everyone that you’re a child of God.  It tells everyone that you’re special, set apart, specifically chosen for the royal priesthood.  Your ID in Jesus, gives you access to the Father and assurance through the Holy Spirit.

It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you’ve done or any shame attached to it; sign up for Jesus’ class and He’s got you covered.  He has you written in His book and He says come on in, it’s time for class!

Life can be problematic and junky.  But don’t get lost in circles and cycles and never reach your destiny.  Pray with joy. Partner with Jesus.  He promises to give you peace for the journey.

Oh Yes God did, God enabled us to reach the unreachable, achieve the unachievable, God Did and is still doing the impossible for humanity rich, poor, young and old….God Did…and God Still Does love us beyond measure and is waiting and willing to do GREAT and Mighty things for us!!

What happens after you fall?  God is right there to catch you, cover you, clean you, claim you and create purpose for your life.

Setbacks are opportunities for growth, transformation, and the strengthening of our faith.
