Episode 73: George A. Romero. Godfather of Zombies and daddy of more, including the newly restored and released 1973 Lutheran Service Society of Western Pennsylvania funded public service announcement, The Amusement Park, Romero's influence has dominated horror film for over 50 years. SAE takes a look at the fresh flesh and the one that started it all, Night Of The Living Dead (1968).

Episode 72: British Horror. Cheers from the other side of the pond, mate. SAE is no stranger to horror from the UK but the recent release of Censor (2021) inspired a dedicated trip to Albion where the locals of Summerisle were more than happy to point the way to The Wicker Man (1973). Crikey! 

Episode 71: American Movie. The classic outsider horror film documentary asks more questions than it answers and SAE finds more to the story in a trip across the lines between art, performance, life, and cinema in the now classic, American Movie (1999) and the resulting short, Coven (1997). 

Episode 70: At The Movies Again. SAE is back in theater, in person, in real life, checking out the sophomore directorial effort of Josh Ruben, Werewolves Within. After last year's promising straight to COVID streaming feature debut and Shudder original, Scare Me, Josh Ruben has reached the Cineplex with a follow up worthy of anticipation. 

Episode 69: Parents. An unavoidable part of every life, SAE salutes the parents of SAE and faces the generational horror that can be wrought by lesser breeders. Mom And Dad (2017), Hereditary (2018).

Episode 68: Clive Barker. Once heralded as “the future of horror” by Stephen King, the literary legacy of Clive Barker may prove to exist in the shadow of film adaptations that introduced timeless iconic characters like Pinhead and Candyman, establishing Barker as a horror film writer, director, producer and icon in his own right. The Midnight Meat Train (2008), Hellraiser (1987).

Episode 67: A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II. Celebrating the long awaited return of real, live, in person theater going with the horror movie event of the year in A Quiet Place Part II. A new horror franchise is born with the timely follow up to 2018’s smash hit, The Quiet Place. SAE looks back on the original film and learns how to eat popcorn silently in public again.

Episode 63: This Means War. Podcasting is hell when SAE goes behind enemy lines and confronts a horror beyond the imagination of the most battle hardened soldier to ever declare mission accomplished. Overlord (2018), Jacob’s Ladder (1990).

Episode 62: Hotel Motel. You can check out but you can never leave the Speak All Evil Inn, where the ice machine is broken and you will most definitely be disturbed. A cornerstone of cinematic and real life horror threatens traveler and local alike as the hallways run red with blood in The Innkeepers (2011) and The Shining (1980).  

Episode 61: Prom. Few horrors compare to the rite of passage endured by teens, and parents, the world over every spring when a lifetime of memories are made coming of age at the big dance. SAE goes stag and is asked to leave the parking lot after crowning themselves kings and queens of the promcast. Prom Night (1980), The Loved Ones (2009).

Episode 60: Satanic Panic. Prince of Darkness, Lord of the Flies, Beelzebub, Belial, Father of Lies, Lucifer, Tempter, Antichrist, good time guy and spawn of endless horror movies new and old, SAE makes a deal with the Devil in exchange for everlasting podcast life. The Omen (1977) and Sheitan (2006). 

Episode 59: Japanese Horror. SAE takes an end round around the usual suspects for a look at two Japanese horror movies with almost nothing in common other than country of origin in the experimental haunted ghost story, House (1977) and the splattercore body horror action of Tokyo Gore Police (2008). 

Episode 58: At The Movies. SAE switches gears from weekly curation to try something new and sorely missed in creating a simulated shared movie going experience and instant discussion after checking out the new and long delayed release, Saint Maud (2019).

Episode 57: Deep Sea Horror. Twenty thousand leagues under SAE the crew has turned on each other in a desperate attempt to avoid the increasingly certain, watery grave that awaits. It's every host for themself as the oxygen runs low, tensions run high, and decompression sickness takes hold. The Abyss (1988), Sea Fever (2020).

Episode 56: Godzilla Vs Kong. SAE scores its biggest guest yet, stomping into what would have been the box office headline of the day, were there still a box office, and finds out how Godzilla compares the original King Kong Vs Godzilla (1962) with the brand new feature, Godzilla Vs Kong (2021). Has finally securing top billing changed Godzilla? Answers revealed. 

Episode 55: Hannibal. SAE delves deep into the mind of a murderous madman and may never be the same. Only by channeling the inner psychological life of the world's most charming cannibal can the ragtag band of young podcast cadets and grizzled veterans hope to stop the nightmarish braying of the slaughtered. Episode 54: South Korea. A favored foreign language film country of origin takes center stage on SAE’s intercontinental beat, examining a pair of South Korean movies from the early aughts and today’s Academy Awards respectively, A Tale Of Two Sisters (2003) and Parasite (2019).

Episode 53: Mask Up. Behind the mask of sanity lurks SAE’s truly depraved nature. One of duality, deception and psychopathy. Taking notes from the masters for future real life endeavors, the gang dissects two movies of masked marauding and mayhem, Haunt (2019) and The Strangers (2008).

Episode 52: Irish Horror. SAE gets in the spirit of St Patrick’s Day with boiled horror from across the pond, banging and mashing their way through the international genre film gold of A Dark Song (2016) and Grabbers (2012).

Episode 51: Howl Play. The legend of the lycanthrope looms large over the history of cinematic horror from the earliest incarnations of the 1930s and 40s to the arguable werewolf movie heyday of the 1980s and beyond. Episode 49: Vacation. SAE packs up and flies away from winter to an exotic, relaxing destination and be treated like royalty for one luxurious week.
