God's grace forgives us of sin and empowers us to walk in righteousness. Follow along as we hear John's clarifications on those who practice sinning and those who practice righteousness.

John exhorts his children to abide in Christ, pursue righteousness, and to purify themselves based on God's work for our salvation.

John grounds the forgiveness of sinner on two attributes of God; His faithfulness and His justness. But, how can God be just and forgive sinners?

Jesus shared a message with the apostles and John shares it with his readers...God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

John opens this little letter by focusing on Christ's deity and humanity, experiencing Christ, and being brought into fellowship with God.
