Facing the challenge of living in this world while being salt and light.

Two of three challenges are presented to Christians this week through the preaching of the final beatitudes. We face persecution and the a test of patience as we wait for the coming kingdom, to wait with joy.

Jesus continues to detail what those marked by redemption look like. Being peacemakers and pure in heart.
