Admitting my life is unmanageable and I’m powerless to fix it.

I think we have a real identity crisis on our hands. It’s a battle between who the world says we should be and who God says we are.

“You’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything.“

“People suck and you can’t kill them.” No one can hurt us like people can hurt us, and yet, we need them. That’s the paradox of people.

If you knew you had one more letter to write, because your days were numbered, who would you write to? What would you say? We’re all living to say “I haven’t been perfect, but I fought the good fight. I finished the race, and I kept the faith.”

Gandhi once said  “I like your Christ but I don’t like your Christians”. The bible tells us that we’re in the last days, so what does that mean for the church, as the world watches on?

Why Easter? Love, Mercy and Grace. When we were at our lowest, and doubling down on trying to do life on our own, Jesus Christ showed up in human history on a rescue mission. He lived, died and rose again: and  the world has never been the same.

We so often find ourselves in an endless cycle of wanting and wanting - a cycle that makes you settle for what you think you want and miss what you really want. So what is most important?  Who is right? We’ll explore these questions together

We want to make sure that our city always knows who we are. We love this city and we will never stop reminding people that the love we have comes because Jesus first loved us.

We live in a broken world but Jesus has a plan for how to live well in a broken world. How to have the faith, discipline and vision to really make a difference in this world. Let’s lean into it together.

Jesus loved us so much that he became vulnerable and suffered for love... but would he have changed it?

How are you doing with fear? God promises us power, love and a sound mind that will overcome it.

We are all searching for purpose - for that one reason we’re here on this earth. What does knowing God mean for our lives and what does His love do for our purpose?

What at the center of your life brings peace or struggle? Pride is the predator of purpose.

Who is this God? Life with God should inspire awe, but we struggle with wonder. How do we rediscover who God is, and by extension, the wonder of the lives we get to live?

"Does God really hear and answer every prayer? God is going to answer every single prayer you will ever pray: sometimes He will change your situation. Sometimes He will change you."
