Caleb calls on us to make God the foundational center of everything in our lives as taught by The Shema.

We are reminded that what we worship influences our beliefs and then our actions, but we are warned that when gotten backwards our actions inform our beliefs and then our worship, which takes us away from God.

SouthCrest Church Sunday morning message, 3/19/23. Our journey through the Bible finds us in Leviticus, where Senior Pastor Matt McFadden shows us that The Law points us to Jesus, and that Jesus’s fulfillment of The Law allows us to be in the presence of our Holy God.

We are shown that the Tabernacle—and later the Temple—is a pattern of the Jesus’s atoning sacrifice that fulfilled the Law, allowing us to enter into God’s presence.

We are reminded that Jesus is our passover lamb—Jesus’s sacrificial blood causes God’s judgement to pass over us who have accepted Christ as our savior.

Senior Pastor Matt McFadden encourages us to understand that God’s plan for our growth will always prevail—regardless of the Enemy’s schemes and regardless of much we may believe ourselves too messed up to serve God.

Seth challenges us, like Job, to have faith in God’s good plan for our life, even in the mist of hardship while knowing still we may never fully understand the purpose of it.
