Oh mon Dieu! France - nay, all Europe - is about to fall! Or so the screamers say. In this NewsReal, Joe and Niall take a calmer look at the riots in France, and last week's high-octane events in Russia. First hour: Prigozhin is a snake, and why Putin had to make an example out of him. Second hour: the root cause of France's riots is a six-decades-long 'African-French' problem that is insoluble -...

They're really going for it. The regime wants to knock the electorate's favorite to become the next president of the US out of the race. Last week's indictment of Donald Trump in a Florida court for '37 charges of mishandling top secret government documents' are patently trumped-up charges intended to negatively impact his re-election bid - perhaps by rendering his candidacy 'invalid'. Meanwhile,...

This week on MindMatters we take a third and final look at the prescient and resounding thoughts of Ernst Jünger's The Forest Passage and reflect on what it means - in the philosophical and practical sense - to be a forest walker, or forest rebel. For our previous episodes on the book see: Part 1: MindMatters: Freedom in Tyranny: Ernst Jünger's The Forest PassagePart 2: MindMatters: The Road Best...

Finally, the dam has broken in Ukraine. Literally and figuratively. Heralded by the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam on the Dnieper River, the much-vaunted Great Ukrainian Counter-Offensive to 'boot the Rooskies from sovereign Ukraine' is underway, and it's almost certainly going to end in the fall of the US puppet regime in Kiev. Also in this NewsReal: the 7-year-long 'Deep State vs Trump' saga co...

What is freedom? Where may it be found and accessed? How does it become actualized from within the individual? And if we are to become free - then what are we to be free from? In this second discussion of Ernst Jünger's seminal book The Forest Passage we follow along with the author's many thoughts on what it means to be free. Concerning political bodies, the media, institutionalized medicine, and...

With British and American cruise missiles, shells, and drones currently hitting Russian residential areas on a daily basis, US Senator Lindsey Graham visited Kiev to reassure Zelensky that "the Ukraine war was the best money the US ever spent because we get to kill Russians!" Is this the 'Ukrainian counter-offensive' they're all talking about: outright terrorism against the civilian Russian popula...

Sadly, none of the above claims of Western media are even remotely true, but it doesn't stop said media from repeating them ad nauseum. In this week's NewsReal, Joe and Niall discuss the fall/liberation of Bakhmut/Artemovsk, the torrent of misinformation about which American and Russian missiles did what in Ukraine last week, the tardy release of the Durham investigative report into 'Russiagate',...

1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, The Gulag Archipelago - there are many great books on 20th-century totalitarianism. But few of them have the power and poetry of Ernst Jünger's 1951 The Forest Passage. Both a man of his time - and ahead of his time - the German-born Jünger was not only a staunch but careful critic of tyranny; he could see through the "soft power" manipulations of much subtle...

The NATO vs Russia proxy war in Ukraine recently escalated a notch or two, with simultaneous 'Ukrainian' airstrikes downing two modern Russian fighter jets and two helicopters... well inside 'Russia proper'. This came the day after British-supplied, longer-range, cruise missiles struck the city of Lugansk, and hours after Russian airstrikes obliterated another huge store of NATO supplies for Ukrai...

Things aren't looking good for the Russian 'SMO' in Ukraine. Increasingly bold sabotage attacks by the Ukrainians last week, together with the almighty row kicked off by Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin about official Russian military support for his mercenary army (and the apparent lack thereof), do not augur well for Russian success against the coming 'Ukrainian counter-offensive' to drive them...

After some brief comments on classical worldviews, natural law, populism, the genesis of leftist and postmodern thought, and the history of ideas, we settle on today's topic of topics: the paranormal. What societal structures exist (in academia, the media, the marketplace, etc.) that make the paranormal both in demand as a subject worth learning about - and yet deeply suppressed as something to ta...

The last prominent anti-war voice in US mainstream media has been taken 'off air'. For now anyway, Tucker Carlson has been silenced, another clear signal that freedom of speech in the US is no more. Meanwhile Bobby Kennedy Jr's popularity is growing as he seeks to do the impossible by becoming president and pulling the US out of terminal decline. Also on this NewsReal, Joe & Niall prepare to s...

Attention citizens! Putin is preparing to attack the UK! At least, that's what British media and govt officials are reporting, while testing their new 'emergency alerts' system on every mobile phone in the country. The government wouldn't do fake news and hype up non-existent threats, would it? Also on this NewsReal, Joe and Niall discuss Anglo-American certainty that Ukraine is poised to retake C...

Never mind all the signs of US economic woes and collapsing Western hegemony, Joe Biden took his 'artistic' son on a 5-day trip to Ireland, where the natives gave them a better reception than they would receive anywhere in the US. Meanwhile, Macron is received with full state honors in China, Pentagon leaks reveal (among other things) a growing rift between the US and Israel, Middle East peace mov...

Turns out Trump wasn't wrong when he said, two weeks ago, "they're coming after me..." But the regime can't seriously believe that he will go to prison over a payment he made to a (literal) whore 7 years ago, can they?! Also on this NewsReal, Joe & Niall look back on a week that included: A mass shooting at a school in Nashville by a crazed 'transgender' woman; the filing of bi-partisan legisl...

US Congress members made a complete ar$e of themselves last week when grilling TikTok's CEO about his 'Chinese Communist Party ties' and his social media platform's 'malign influence on American children', paving the way - they hope - for the dehumanization the Chinese people in Americans' eyes, a prelude to some form of crazy 'war' against the world's most populous country. Meanwhile, in the real...

Is Trump about to be arrested? He certainly thinks so, and has put out a call for people to protest in his defense. Curiously, last week Pakistan's 'Trump', Imran Khan, narrowly avoided arrest when his supporters took to the streets in their thousands to prevent police executing a warrant. And then there's the ICC's 'international arrest warrant' for Putin, wanted for 'war crimes against children'...

In just a short time, programs like ChatGPT and other chat bots have burst on the societal scene to the delight, fascination and enthrallment of millions. Individuals can now interact with a language program that is seemingly conversant on numerous subjects and provides "answers" via virtual brains. But this new powerful technology begs many more questions: What are these programs really, and how...

The 'Covid Origins Story' reemerged recently with FBI Director Christopher Wray stating that the pandemic "most likely" stemmed from a "lab incident" in Wuhan, China. This energized Republicans' Covid probes, resulting in unanimous Congressional support for "publishing all government files on Covid's origins." If such happens, you can bet that all resulting "revelations" will be "dynamically shape...

ESG's, diversity, equity, and inclusion, stakeholder capitalism, sustainability, CBDC's, transhumanism, Agenda 2030 — no doubt you've heard or read about these and any number of other terms that are meant to get the public with the new progressive and "forward thinking" policies and philosophies of the future. Of course you have; they are all part of the behemoth global elite-inspired policies and...

It's been a busy week for the Chinese foreign ministry, proposing a peace plan for Ukraine while fending off Western accusations that it instead plans to supply weapons to Russia, then publishing a series of reports on the negative impact of American hegemony on world order. Up until now, we've just heard such condemnation of US foreign policy in Putin's speeches, but are we now seeing China annou...

Following the 'high' of UFO-balloon-gate, US imperial policy returned to Earth this week as Western leaders paraded their psychotic embrace of global hegemony at the annual Munich Security Conference (MSC). This time last year, the annual pow-wow ended with Zelensky floating the idea of Kiev acquiring nuclear weapons, at which point Russia declared its recognition of the breakaway Donbass republic...
