How do we partake of the flesh and blood of Jesus? (1) Consuming Jesus equals belief leading to eternal life. (2) Consuming Jesus equals abiding leading to a satisfied life.

God wants us to enjoy his sovereignly appointed eternal life.

Saving faith finds the satisfaction and security in Jesus that our souls have been looking for. That is because Jesus alone offers spiritual bread that secures our souls eternally.

Most people think greatly of little things and little of great things. Yet, every person on earth will hear the voice of Jesus someday. Some will hear an invitation to eternal punishment. Some will hear an invitation to eternal joy and life.

We don’t trust Jesus because he solves all our problems the way we want Him to. We trust Jesus because he has the power to solve our problems any way he wants. He has the power to provide in ways we never could imagine yet he is so much more than a great provider. The very reason Jesus provides temporary joy to weigh our appetite for permanent joy in him.

In this sermon, Pastor Rich explains that the church is built ON a Divine foundation, BY a Divine builder, AS a Divine possession, WITH a Divine promise, FOR a Divine purpose.

How is it that some people can encounter the word of God and yet never have a life-changing encounter with Jesus. This was indeed the case with the Pharisees. In John 5:30-47 Jesus presents five "witnesses" to prove the truth of his identity.

The trials we face in life presents us with a choice. Either we can pursue ultimate joy and satisfaction in God, or we can choose blame shifting and sinful desires which ultimately lead to death. In James 1:1-18 we see that in the midst of trials God is good and desires to use them in our lives to produce steadfastness and maturity.

Jesus provides unequivocal testimony that he is fully God and worthy of our honor. He defends this with two main propositions: (1) I will be worshipped as God, and (2) I will judge as God.

We need to trust Jesus enough to allow him to operate in whatever way he chooses. This kind of fruit-bearing faith believes God for things we cannot see. It is faith based on the word of God.

God calls us to lead thirsty people to living water, but what is our motivation? Our motivation is to understand that we share what naturally brings us joy! In order to lead people to living water, we must not be motivated by guilt by love for Jesus!

Every day our lives intersect with people who need to be lead to living water. But how do we direct conversations to spiritual things? In this sermon we see that Jesus left us a perfect example to follow.

Scott grew up in a Christian home but rejected the faith of his parents. But an encounter with his dying Grandmother shook him to the core and helped him see Jesus clearly for the first time.

Jesus functions as both the basis and the object of our faith because he holds your destiny in his hands. He has authority over all things and belief is the condition for eternal life. True life is defined by knowing and being known by God because he is the source of life. These are the truths we see clearly in John 3:35-36.

Jesus functions and both the basis and the object of our faith because he provides an eyewitness account, he is the gatekeeper of our belief in God, and he speaks as God on behalf of God.

We must find joyful contentment in what God's given to us...and others!

Because of our spiritual blindness God both gives and helps us receive the greatest gift in history.

We are made to praise God because we are made to enjoy. True enjoyment is found only in God. That is why the most loving thing God can do is command us to praise Him. In this sermon Pastor Mike walks through the shortest chapter in the Bible and points out some mighty truths.
