Sons of Suwannee Sportscast

The boys are back! We close the book on the 21 Suwannee Football season while highlighting the success of the Boys Cross Country Team and Peyton Slaughter qualifying for state in swimming.  TJ is happy with the firings Mullen did after the South Carolina embarrassment plus we do a little college basketball preview. 

The guys discuss the fading playoff chances for the Dogs while closing the books on the majority of the fall sports. TJ delivers a hot take about Lunchables and Hunter reminds everyone he was always positive about his Braves making it to the World Series.

This week the guys stay positive and focus on the big wins over Columbia for Volleyball and the Men's Swim Team. The one and only Adrienne Taylor graces the show with her presence as she previews the upcoming Bulldog Bash. We hope to see everyone at the Dog House Thursday night at 7 for the Bulldog Bash and then Friday night for the Homecoming game with a 7:30 kickoff!  

This week Hunter sits down with Coach Kinsel and Coach Hufty to review this year's Volleyball team. 

Hunter and TJ discuss the recent slide for the Dogs while turning the page to Madison. Hunter celebrates FSU's win and TJ takes responsibility for the Florida loss because he was at a wedding. Interview will drop tomorrow with Coach Hufty and Coach Kinsel on this year's Volleyball team. 

Hunter and TJ detail what is going wrong with the Dogs lately and interview Hawthorne Inside Linebackers Coach Rufus Jefferson.  Jefferson previews the matchup with Suwannee and talks about his son's (Hawthorne QB Tyler Jefferson) recruitment.  Hunter enjoyed his weekend for once and TJ says the UF vs. Kentucky football game is the craziest game of the year.

This week the guys call in Lake City Reporter Editor Jamie Wachter for back up to get a better perspective of what happen to the Dogs last Friday night in Jacksonville vs. Ed White.  Hunter speaks very little on his Noles while TJ is not here for moral victories vs. Bama.

Hunter and TJ breakdown the upcoming district matchup vs. Ed White and TJ provides a swim team update. Boys Cross Country Coach Brian Bullock joins the guys to discuss the Cross Country team and what he expects from them this year. Hunter begrudgingly talks about what happened to his Noles Saturday night while TJ is staying realistic with his hopes going into the Bama game.

Hunter & TJ recap the Dogs pre-season classic victory over Hamilton while going through the rosters of Volleyball and Swim.  The guys interview former Bulldog & current Ohio State Buckeye Jamari Wheeler and talk to him about his decision to commit to OSU. Hunter unveils a new segment that you won't want to miss! 

GIVE THEM DOGS SIX! Football season is upon us so Hunter and TJ sit down with SHS Head Coach Kyler Hall to discuss the roster and this upcoming football season. Dogs kick off vs. Hamilton tomorrow night at home.  Come out and show your support to begin the 2021-2022 season!

This week the guys recap Regionals for Track & Field and talk about Montayasia Jones committing to Williston State College for volleyball. Hunter & TJ review UF/FSU softball and baseball action while giving draft grades to our beloved Jacksonville Jaguars.

This week the guys talk about baseball and softball season coming to an end, David Laxton being inducted to the FHSAA Hall of Fame and the boys weightlifting results from state.  Hunter and TJ also talk about the upcoming NFL Draft and who they expect the Jags to target.

This week the guys discuss Track & Field winning districts, Softball's hot streak, Baseball district seeding and Flag Football wrapping up their season.
