Welcome Home! Join us for week one of our new series called “This is Church. Vol.3”! Ps. Nate spoke an incredible message on the value of humility and walked us through the Sermon on the Mount found in chapter 5 of the Book of Matthew.

What a blessing it was to welcome Jason Ballard from The away Church in Vancouver, BC to join us this Sunday! He delivered a powerful word out of Hebrews 12: 1-3; and encouraged us on the uniqueness of a Christian perseverance that we have through Christ. Thank you Jason!

In "The Book of Matthew" Pastor Brandan Richardson reminds us that we can't save anybody, only Jesus can, but we have an important role in leading others to Jesus.

In "A Deeply Formed Life”, Pastor Emma Richardson of Slate Church teaches us the importance of prayer and fasting in our walk with God.

What are we being formed by? In "A Deeply Formed Life”,  Pastor Brandon Richardson of Slate Church reminds us that the walk with Jesus is one that brings us closer to Him because He is loving and because we want to spend time with Him. When we follow Jesus, we allow ourselves to be formed by Him.

In "Listen & Obey", Pastor Jared Moore of Slate Church delivers a message for the new year and asks us what is the foundation we are building our life on? We are encouraged to build our lives on the foundation that is the Word of God and our relationship with Jesus.

In "The Book of Matthew (Part 5)", Pastor Nate Lambert reminds us. The truth is, the bible is about who God is and what he has done for us. God is working even when we don't realize it. He continues to love us and pursue us even in our imperfection. We must center ourselves around the King and recognize that there is a greater hope and a greater purpose we can find in Jesus.

In "The Book of Matthew" (Part 4), Pastor Brandon Richardson of Slate Church encourages us that power doesn't belong to the hands of those who rule the earth but belongs to our Creator.

Our temptation is to runaway from sin because of the fear of displeasing God, but we should run towards God even in our sin. 

The Church is the family of God. In "Child Again" (Week 2), Pastor Jared Moore of Slate Church shares with us that the idea of the church as our family is a unique thing that God has set out and has invited us into. Let's be encouraged to remember that the primary connection of our family on earth is significant because of the blood that's running through our veins, but that the primary connection...

If we allow the Spirit to lead us, we are children of God. In "Child Again" (Week 1), Pastor Brandon Richardson of Slate Church encourages us that we don't have to live in fear because we are heirs of God and thus share His glory. We belong to the Father and He has an unconditional love for us as we abide and remain in Christ.

Jesus completes the story, but the story completes our understanding of Jesus. In "The Book of Matthew" (Part 2), Pastor Nathan Lambert of Slate Church teaches us that the book of Matthew was written after Jesus lived, died, and rose again. What do we do in the middle a society that doesn’t see us as a moral compass anymore? In Locals Sunday, Pastor Brandon Richardson of Slate Church encourages us that when we start to orient our values align with Jesus’ and His way, we will see transformation in our world.
