Brett breaks the mould and instead of playing a good indie horror game that is about an hour long he plays a not very good indie horror game that is about an hour long.

If you ever need some people to come ace an escape room with you, you know who to call. We complete about 400 discrete puzzle rooms in this episode so you know that those neurons are firing on all cylinders. Also we punch some ghosts.

We trek through the beautiful Star Hill and see some sentimental wishes from folks all across the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, and then we head to Seaside Town which is full of clones of that kid in 3rd grade whose favourite pastime was licking doorknobs and melting ants with a magnifying glass.

Time to head back to the Mushroom Kingdom! And not much else! (Except the secret I slapped on the end)

50% of this episode is us being far too out of it for the lore dump that we are receiving and the other 50% is us being the correct amount of out of it for feeling self conscious about the accents that the game is placing upon us.

We're gonna solve Rose Town's arrow problem and get to the bottom of what the hell is up with these Donkey Kong lookin' guys. Or, I dunno, at least one of those things.

Steve and Jess get vored in the sewers and Brett reminisces about an extremely creepy in retrospect Canadian children's social media site. After that we meet up with Mallow's grandfather and experience revelations rivaling the climax of Deadly Premonition.  Ok well maybe they're not quite at that caliber.
