Yom tov gets its kedusha because it was already setup that way back. Now that those days have that kedusha we do more mitzvos as a result.

The mishna tells us that there needs to be a slow process to get to the point of not doing an aveira. One cannot go to the end point right away.

The Torah only tells us now the halachos of the Kohanim after the korbanos in order that a person should first understand his worth, understand the reason it’s being done. It’s not just a Halacha, it’s because you’re on a higher pedestal. This applies to not just kohanim, everyone in klal Yisrael is included.

Learning Torah isn’t the end game. It needs to bring one to act on it.

The parsha starts out telling us that we must be holy. It’s no coincidence that this falls out during Sefiras haomer when we prepare to receive the Torah on the Yom tov of Shavous.

When the Torah uses the word “Mos” perhaps it’s to teach us that the death of Nadav and Avihu wasn’t a good one.

Of course there’s a chiyuv to eat matzah on pesach. But with that a person needs to have the Motzei as well.

The Torah interjects to tell us that a baby boy has a bris on the eight day to tell us that it’s not just a technicality. There’s a build up to the momentous occasion.

When we make kiddush at the Seder, it’s not just a kiddush like we make all year round- it’s the first of the four cups that must be drunk.

Only a doctor can tell you about your sickness. Only a Kohein can tell if a person has tzaras. And only Hashem can take us out of Mitzrayim.

From both Parshas Hachodesh and Parshas Shemin we see that there’s things above and beyond nature, beyond our comprehension .

When a person wants to be a Tzadik he gets an infinite amount of heavenly assistance. Thus, it’s easier to be a Tzaddik and receive that assistance than be a rasha and not get it at all.

Nadav and Avihu were punished for bringing a Korban they weren’t commanded to. But their desire for greatness was there, albeit done incorrectly.

Parshas Parah comes immediately following Purim to show us that it’s time to get ourselves ready for Pesach. Not just cleaning for chametz, but ourselves too.

Unfortunately we don’t have a Beis Hamikdash to bring korbanos today. However, there’s a way to make like they are brought.

The Torah uses the term of affection at the outset of the parsha. There’s a similar word in the Megilla as well that could perhaps connote the same theme.

Sefer Shemos is a blueprint for our history. All the way from the enslavement in Mitztrayim, to the building of the Mishkan.

The Torah spells out each time that Moshe did it because Hashem said to. I wasn’t just an overall nice thing. He focused on each thing individually which contributed to the overall picture.

Rashi tells us the Purim & Pesach are times that miracles took place. Thus, there’s more happiness in these days. Why specifically them? We have other Yamim Tovim also? Maybe it’s because we came out alive on the other end of it.

HKB”H showed Moshe Rabbeinu a coin of fire to show that even if you may not have the best of intentions, it’s as if you’re doing it for it totally correctly for no external reasons.

The Mishkan could have had donation by just one or two individuals. However, that wasn’t the case. Everyone has a portion in bringing the Shechinah down to this world.
