Just as the people of Malachi's day were to live faithful covenant relationships in preparation for the coming of the great Messenger, so believers today are to remain faithful to the Lord and to other members of the new covenant community while being prepared for the Lord's second coming. Join pastors John Nicholson and Josh Watford as they unpack the book of Malachi.

The Gospels incorporate more passages from Zechariah than from any other prophet. In Zechariah we see foreshadowed Jesus's royal entrance into Jerusalem; his betrayal for thirty silver pieces; his role as Shepherd and Branch; and the piercing of Jesus's body. Join us as we dive into the book of Zechariah.

Join Pastors John Nicholson and Josh Watford as the have a conversation with Children's Minister, Roger Harper, on leading children through the minor prophets!

Apathy and focusing only on the needs and comforts of yourself can be great hindrances to God's work. All followers of Christ should examine the way they are living, identify what is most important to them, and then set new priorities that align with God's will. Join us as we dig into the book of Haggai.

There will be a day when God judges all people of all nations, condemning the wicked and restoring those who humbly trust in the Lord and serve Him. Join Pastors John Nicholson and Josh Watford as they dive into the book of Zephaniah.

Habakkuk struggled with how to understand God's actions in history, especially his use of an unrighteous nation as the instrument of his justice. God's answer to Habakkuk's objection was the "the righteous one will live by his faith." (2:4)

When we are tempted to believe God is lacking compassion, we should recall his extraordinary patience and continual appeals with both his people Israel and with Gentile nations. Join us as we continue the conversations through the minor prophets!

God gives warnings so we will not have to suffer His wrath. Judgment is certain if God’s warnings are not heeded and His provision for sin in the sacrifice of His Son is rejected. For the believer in Christ, God will discipline us—not from hate—but because He loves us. He knows that sin destroys and He wants us to be whole. This wholeness which is the promise of restoration awaits those who remain...

We are all a lot like Jonah. We get mad and throw our sucker in the sand. However, the Lord desires the salvation of the lost more than his servants do, which means that his people should pray that they see all people as God sees them - in need of hearing his message of good news and responding to it in such a way that it results in their salvation. Join us as we discuss the book of Jonah!

God's wrath against Edom for its sin is the single concern of this brief book; Obadiah prophesied that God would destroy the nation of Edom because of its pride and violence - particularly in it looking down on Judah at the time of its misfortune. While we may look at this little book and think it does not apply to us at all, it still does. Join us as we discuss Obadiah!

God will not be pleased with our worship as long as there is corruption and idolatry in our hearts. Instead, we must practice justice and righteousness. Join us for a conversation around the minor prophet book of Amos.

Plagues, the day of the Lord, God's call for repentance, His response to Israel, promise of the Spirit, judgment, and blessing. There is so much covered in a short book! Join us for a deep dive into the book of Joel!

Unfaithfulness, repentance, restoration. These are the main themes found in Hosea. Shocking language is used, but it is for a purpose, and that is to point us back to Jesus. The judgment must happen for restoration to take place. Join us in this conversation as we unpack Hosea a little more!
