Once, when Guru Nanak was young, he stopped eating very much. He just stayed in his room and missed being with God. His parents got worried and called a doctor to see if he was sick. Once there was a piece of clay that a potter had. The potter worked this clay all kinds of ways and the clay kept telling him "Stop it, that hurts!" The emperor Jahangir had heard rumors of Guru Hargobind and decided to pay him a visit. He found the Guru to be wise, friendly and brave. Once they were hunting together and a tiger jumped out to attack the emperor. All of his royal soldiers were afraid and didn't do anything. When Nanak was a little boy he went to school, and he wasn't interested in learning the alphabet. He only wanted to chant Gods name.
