Psalm 6 || We'll be opening up the Word to learn how to "Pray our Tears" with Psalm 6 as our guide. It is a beautiful and hopeful song that sings to us in our pain and teaches how the tears of the contrite are the fuel for our journey into the loving arms of God.

Psalm 99 || God's holiness is perhaps one of his hardest qualities to define because we don't quite have a human equivalent of it, yet it is one of his most central characteristics to understand especially if we want to know why Jesus Christ showed up and what he was hoping to accomplish.

We're taking a break from our current series to start our yearly "Summer of Psalms" series to commemorate the season of sunshine we're in! This Sunday we're taking a look at Psalm 34, asking the questions "What is good?" and "Is God good?"

1 Corinthians 11:17-34 -- Lord's Supper (communion)... What we'll encounter in this text is a reminder of the heart of God seen uniquely through this church practice. Perhaps there's more to this practice than most fully comprehend.

After entertaining the possibility that mature Christians could partake in eating food sacrificed to idols provided they keep their less mature brothers and sisters in mind, Paul shifts gears to warn those mature believers of the dangers of coming close to idol worship: "Be careful that you don't fall!" What could this mean for us as we deal with our own set of temptations in the modern world?
