Hi! I’m Joanna, an average high school student trying to spread the word of one of my favourite fantasy story of all time! Journey to the West, by Wu Cheng’En, is one of the most famous novels in all of China. In Shenanigans of a Westward Journey, every Sunday, I will read you a section of this story in English, which I also edited in a way that anyone can understand and enjoy! My goal here is to spread awareness of Chinese culture but most importantly, to have fun! So, let’s not waste any time, and let’s get into this shenanigan together!
