Honestly I do not really remember when I started to like Folk Metal.  I have a background in historical / medieval re-enactment and sword fighting.  So I was very often at medieval fairs, castles and such to do stunt shows with my mercenary group.  Trust me, I heard a lot of (not so good ...) medieval folk music, so for quite some time I was really fed up with this genre.  But...

Today a short one.  I only know this very one song from  @Novena Senda  "Olvido" but it has the perfect mix of all the ingredients I like.  Proto Goth or Post Punk, however you wanna call it. A great voice, which reminds me of  @Héroes del Silencio - MTV Unplugged  , but this could simply be, that the song is in Spanish.  Anyway, the song checks all the right box...
