DNFing books more than halfway through… at least I gave them a chance? And a few good books that just took me a while to get through. All of the books I read or attempted to read in August!

Gotta love a petty Spencer! Season 2 of The Hills brings the introduction of Brody and Spencer, the beginning of the end (iYKYK) of Lauren and Heidi’s friendship, and Lauren’s 21st birthday.

GoodReads made a list of 72 of the most popular mystery and thriller books from the last three years. As thrillers have quickly become my new favorite genre - I happen to know a little about a lot of these! Consider this a potential thriller TBR for ya!

For about five seconds I wanted to make a YouTube channel so I gathered up the books I’m unhauling and books I recently bought. Then I decided to stick with the medium I enjoy. So here’s all the books I recently got or that I’m getting rid of (aka the little free library that could).

With all of the authority of a mom for two weeks (but nanny for many), here are the items we use and love the most so far. I mention a few things for momma, but the majority are baby related. Also update, I do in fact love the bath and sling I mention towards the end. 🥰

You know how they say reading books and owning books is two different hobbies? Yeah well, I have two different hobbies. It’s not as bad as it used to be - think, hundreds of books sitting on shelves unread - but it’s still pretty bad. It is my hope that I’ll get around to these this year, maybe I’ve already read a few before this podcast was posted! Wish me luck!

Turns out you have a short attention span when you have a newborn so I DNF’ed quite a few books this month - way more than the number of books I actually read. We will find a groove at some point or I guess I just will have shorter wrap ups each month!

With my maternity leave approaching, I knew I wanted to do a Hills rewatch. But of course before doing so, you have to rewatch Laguna Beach where it all began. My key takeaway from this experience is that Stephen is trash. Enjoy! 😉
